On March 24, Cawthorn made an appearance on the "Warrior Poet Society" podcast. During his interview, host John Lovell asked Cawthorn if "House of Cards," the Netflix series starring alleged sex abuser Kevin Spacey as a Democratic congressman with a secret life of corruption, power, money and perversion, was close to the reality of what politicians do in Washington, D.C.
"The only thing that's not accurate in that show is that you could never get a piece of legislation about education passed that quickly," said Cawthorn, who was astonished at the levels of sexual perversion that occur in the nation's capital.
Cawthorn added he was surprised by how many of the older politicians in Washington who he used to look up to suddenly invited him to orgies.
"I've always paid attention to politics. Then all of a sudden, you get invited," he said. "'We're going to have a sexual get-together at one of our homes, you should come.' 'What did you just ask me to come to?' And then you realize they're asking you to come to an orgy."
Cawthorn then claimed that illegal drug use is very common among many politicians in Washington, as well as other D.C. insiders. In fact, he said some of the people leading national anti-drug campaigns are themselves prolific users of cocaine and other illegal substances.
"And then you watch them do a bump of cocaine right in front of you and it's like, this is wild," he said.
On an episode of "The Stew Peters Show" on Brighteon.TV, guest hosts Edward Szall and Lauren Witzke, the GOP's former candidate for the Senate in Delaware, said Cawthorn should be praised for having the courage to speak up about what's actually going on in the nation's capital. Witzke said the backlash Cawthorn has received from other more established politicians, like House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, proves that Cawthorn is telling the truth.
"It sparked some outrage," she said. "It has upset some people in the GOP that Madison Cawthorn would have the audacity to expose them for the orgy-attending, drug-sniffing, children-raping people that they are."
"When we hear congressmen like Congressman Cawthorn speak out in this manner, we have to applaud them," said Szall. "We have to stand with them because what he's doing is, he's showing us behind the scenes. He's showing us behind the curtain."
