Today we have rolled out over nine months' worth of back-end updates, enhancements and code improvements for Brighteon.com. There is some temporary glitching taking place due to CDN caching of video files and thumbnails, but this glitching should self-resolve in about 24 hours.
We have been working extremely hard to solidify our back-end code for an upcoming major migration to an entirely new, large-scale data center that will make Brighteon.com even more censorship-resistant and scalable for the future. Thank you for your patience as we make these significant improvements.
There are still many fixes and improvements under development that will be rolled out this year. For example, our view counts are currently not working in some cases when videos are embedded in websites using iframe code. This means actual video views may be much higher than what you are seeing in your dashboard.
In addition, we are working toward a universal crypto-based tipping system that will allow content creators to receive crypto-denominated tips from viewers. We had originally planned this system to be rolled out in USD, but the fiat currency collapse is very near, and thanks to the weaponization of the central banks against all citizens of the world, we have abandoned any plans to use fiat currencies of any kind.
Also, for the record, due to the extreme censorship and propaganda being pushed by Big Tech, Big Media and Big Government -- especially when it comes to the situation in Ukraine, or immunizations, etc. -- we are reiterating our stance on free speech and tripling down on our commitment to allowing people to express dissenting / unpopular views that question official narratives.
