"They are not ready and they don't like to go to open war. Putin is a KGB guy. He's not a military general. He likes to do that sneaky war. So his hybrid war is much better for him," Davyda Romero told host Ann Vandersteel during a recent episode of "Steel Truth" on Brighteon.TV.
"How he occupied part of Ukraine in Donbass area quietly, how he occupied and took over Crimea because he just wanted to have access to Black Sea. So he knows he cannot do open war because in open war somebody has to be the winner, somebody has to lose, and we are not sure who is it gonna be." The Youwalk Today founder and owner said Putin's perfect dream is to have Ukraine back in the new Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).
"It's absolutely 100 percent sure. He started to dream about it and talk about it since his first year of presidency. It's still kind of a nightmare for Russia to live without Ukraine," Davyda Romero said.
She added that news about Russia's troop movements on Ukraine's border has caused her sleepless nights. She noted that Russia already has access to Ukraine from the north through Belarus, which gives it an even more open border with Ukraine. Davyda Romero said a Russian occupation of Ukraine won't happen today, but this has been Putin's dream.
Biden acting like Putin's media coordinator
Davyda Romero criticized President Joe Biden's political stance on Ukraine. She compared it to a comedy-tragedy theater show, adding that Biden is acting like Putin's media coordinator.
"How come the president of United States can do the role of PR coordinator or mass media coordinator of Mr. Putin? Why is he announcing Putin's plans? And you don't have to be a graduate of West Point to understand that nobody in the history of human being, nobody announced his big attack, big war, if he wants to win that war," she said.
The painter/designer also noted that Putin was very quiet during President Donald Trump's presidency, but started to have Ukrainian soldiers killed on the border with Biden in office.
Ukraine is a very desirable land
She pointed out that Ukraine is a very desirable land with a lot of very important natural resources and very rich soil. She shared that Ukraine can feed like 400 or 500 million people just by their agriculture and that it is a big buffer pillow between Russia and Europe.
"And you know, all our life or history of Ukraine, we fight for freedom. We have never really been free because since medieval times, it was always a war about Ukraine. Because it's too big, too desirable, too sweet piece of cake. And everybody wants to use it," she said.
Davyda Romero, whose husband Paul Romero is running for governor in Oregon, added that the Biden and Clinton families had benefited in making investments in Ukraine.
