The report, authored by China expert Gordon Chang, began by noting the toll China's virus -- COVID-19 -- has taken on the United States.
"China's coronavirus has now killed more than 806,400 Americans, according to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center," Chang wrote.
Despite that, no one in the Biden White House wants to hold Beijing accountable. In fact, just this week, Vice President Kamala Harris declared that the virus is no one's fault.
"I don't think this is a moment to talk about fault," Harris told CBS News’s Margaret Brennan. "It is no one's fault that this virus hit our shores or hit the world. But it is more about individual power and responsibility and the decisions that everyone has the choice to make."
Except that it is one nation's fault -- China -- and Chang believes the ChiCom government is working on an encore. Even so, he is certain President Biden isn't about to hold Beijing to account either.
"There are Chinese business links with Biden's family and with members of his administration and doubtless he wants to accommodate campaign donors wishing to do business in China, but most fundamentally the President, despite everything, speaks as if he has never let go of his decades-old benign view of the nature of Chinese communism," Chang noted.
He went on to say that American society is stronger than Chinese society, which is amazing given our political divisions and the unrest of 2020-1, which at the moment is especially fragile because of its debt crisis, but the Communist Party can destroy the U.S. simply because Biden is not adequately defending it from malicious—and unrelenting — Chinese attacks."
"The next disease from China could be a civilization-killer," Chang warned. "China's military is working on the next generation of pathogens, a new kind of biological warfare of 'specific ethnic genetic attacks.' In other words, Chinese researchers are developing viruses, microbes, and germs that leave China's people immune but kill everyone else."
He went on to cite Biden for believing that the U.S. and other democratic societies around the world can simply co-exist with China, but that is fallacious thinking.
"What Biden fails to understand is that Chinese communism is in a fight to the finish with the U.S. — whether the U.S. thinks so or not," he wrote.
That much is actually evident for anyone to see who chooses to do so. Many historians have observed that China's rise over the past few years especially mimics Imperial Japan's rise in the 1930s, right down to China's massive naval expansion. What's more, the Chinese are dramatically expanding their nuclear weapons arsenal so they can hold America and India at bay when Beijing decides to swallow Taiwan.
Plus, Chang notes, China is already killing Americans -- through the exportation of dangerous fentanyl and ingredients to the U.S. via Mexico.
"Biden in a November 17 statement marked the overdose deaths of more than 100,000 Americans in the 12 months ended April 30. Not once did he mention China. Of that toll, approximately 64,000 deaths were attributable to fentanyl. Of that 64,000, almost all were the result of Chinese fentanyl," he wrote.
Last week, as Biden prepared "to speak about what America can do to protect itself from the spread of COVID-19," Chang predicted "he will not talk about the most important thing the nation must do: impose the greatest of costs on China to make sure the Communist Party will not create another pandemic."
And Biden didn't.
"Biden's failure to confront China, whether on coronavirus or fentanyl deaths, means he is derelict in discharging his most fundamental constitutional duty: protecting the American people from foreign attack," Chang concluded.
