Now, we haven't really 'won' a war in a long time, granted. We fought to a draw in Korea; won many battles in Vietnam but ultimately lost the war to the Communist faction; and we have spent trillions fighting low-tech wars in Iraq and Afghanistan collectively for decades with literally nothing to show for it.
But the overarching objective of the military is to fight and win the macro wars -- wars that, were we to lose, our country would be invaded and taken over by a foreign power that would not be very hospitable to the conquered American nation.
With that in mind, in the few short months Joe Biden's handlers have been in power, the U.S. military has become ground zero for the next major assault on a fundamental American institution -- in fact, the last American institution left standing, since the left has already taken over education, entertainment, the arts, science and the popular culture.
But the difference this time is that the future safety and security of our country is literally at stake.
In recent weeks, various branches of the military have openly begun advocating for LGBTQ 'wokeness,' as reported by LifeSite News:
Under the Biden-Harris administration, the normalizing of homosexuality and transgenderism within the ranks of the U.S. military is accelerating.
“History was made on Friday with the first ever all gay U.S. Navy helicopter crew,” tweeted veteran Navy Intelligence Officer and left-wing activist Travis Akers, along with pictures of the homosexual flyers.

During the previous week, the U.S. Air Force (USAF) announced that a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer/Questioning Initiative Team (LIT) had been formally established under the umbrella of its Barrier Analysis Working Group (BAWG).
“The LGBTQ Initiative Team focuses on the LGBTQ community and identifies and works to resolve the issues that disproportionately impede the success of LGBTQ Airmen and Guardians,” said the USAF in a press release.
“The creation of this team comes 10 years after the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, the legislation that prohibited LGB service members from serving openly. For many of the senior-ranking military members, some of whom served under DADT for nearly two decades, the creation of LIT is a watershed event," it added.
“I expect our group will grow–our community and allies want to help!” said Maj. Gen. Leah Lauderback, a lesbian and one of the group’s founders, of the team.
For the record, Don't Ask, Don't Tell -- a compromise struck during Bill Clinton's administration -- was seen as highly successful for two reasons: 1) Gays and lesbians could finally serve in the military without fear of being discharged if 'found out'; and 2) the policy deemphasized sexual orientation and instead continued to emphasize competence and ability instead.
Now that Biden's Marxist handlers are in power, they are working quickly to reverse that concept -- to place sexual orientation and 'sexual rights' above everything else, and let's just say unequivocally that is going to result in a military disaster at some point not long from now.
And rational people see it coming.
“Back in 2016, when Barack Obama first injected gender confusion into the ranks, the result was absolute chaos,” wrote Family Research Council (FRC) president Tony Perkins after Biden signed an executive order early on reversing President Trump's ban on transgender service members.
“Instead of making our troops more effective, efficient, and deadly, commanders were retrofitting bathrooms, ordering sensitivity trainings, rewriting health care policies, and worrying how to combat the low morale,” he added.
That matters; without morale, units fail in battle. And if the esprit de corps of the military is lost then patriotic Americans will no longer join -- and the institution fails as a whole.
Then our country loses a major war. And we lose our country.
