The trials and tribulations of the covid-19 scandal are forcing people to reflect on their own beliefs, to ponder the meaning of life itself, and question where their faith lies. Pastor Leon Benjamin was interviewed by Mike Adams on the topic of faith, revival and the spiritual battle for the hearts and minds of men.
The lockdowns have threatened civil liberties, oppressed human health, and enslaved populations like the world has never seen before, putting people’s minds in a state of bondage. This bondage has wrought perpetual submission to authoritarian governments, as populations are herded and intimidated to go along with bodily requirements. This bondage has brought about a dark, mental state that holds people captive to the fear of death and the expectation of disease. Science has become a false god, promising protection, while holding people’s minds captive to fear.
The controlling medical edicts have placed chains on people’s spirits and given disease more power, choking the life force breath out of people, dismantling their livelihoods and disabling human connection. This mentality does nothing to address the underlying health problems that people may face, nor do these behavioral controls prevent disease, treat infection or heal people. A controlling mindset of “do as you’re told or you or you will die” has taken the population like a plague, oppressing people's lives. But in these trials and tribulations, people are reflecting on their beliefs, questioning the meaning of their life, and turning back to God.
The covid-19 scandal provides many physical challenges in day-to-day life, but behind it all is a grander spiritual experience, an ethereal spiritual battle that confronts people's conscience and humbles us all to repent. People who have taken their faith for granted are now reaching back for God, the redeemer they once knew. People who mocked the Savior for years are forced to consider their faith and the meaning of life and death. Those who sat in church for years and raised their hands must now put their faith in action or be taken captive by this spirit of fear.
Even church leaders must decide their fate, whether they will shut down human connection indefinitely, bow to a spirit of fear and control, and condemn their heart and mind to isolation, government obedience, and inoculation requirements. People, whether behind the church walls or outside of them, must decide to submit their mind and body to this fear and tyranny or live in a spirit of faith and eternal knowing. This is the battle for the soul of mankind, and everyone must answer before God, as real revival sweeps the hearts of man.
