Net Zero, Climate Action, "Build Back Better," and the so-called "Great Reset" are just a few of the many names for this global transition away from abundant and inexpensive natural gas, clean coal, and oil to heavily subsidized and highly inefficient solar, wind and "electric" technologies.
Besides the fact that most of the infrastructure for "renewable" energy technologies is made in China, all of it represents a step-down for low- and middle-class folks whose lives depend upon affordable energy.
There is a very good reason why most of the world's energy still comes from fossil fuels. Oil, coal and gas are cheap, abundant and easy to convert into wealth and prosperity for the everyday man and woman. And contrary to popular belief, fossil fuels are not nearly as polluting as many people claim they are, especially thanks to emerging technological advances.
"Japan's clean-coal technology and improved combustion engines in automobiles are two of the many technologies that have reduced pollutants in emissions, making fossil fuels all the more desirable," writes Vijay Jarayaj for LifeSiteNews about clean fossil fuels.
"In contrast, wind and solar make up an insignificant percentage of the world's energy consumption ... The renewable contribution to global energy consumption in 2017 was less than 2%. Solar and wind contributed just 7% of the world's electricity in 2018."
As for "electric" cars (EVs), most of the "clean" electricity that powers them comes from burned coal, which is actually more polluting than traditional gasoline combustion.
On nearly every front, "green" energy is not what it seems. The shell game is designed to trick people for just long enough to decimate the fossil fuel industry before everyone realizes that they were hoodwinked and it is already too late to turn back.
The reality is that it is impossible to replace fossil fuels with inferior technologies like solar and wind. Not only are solar and wind inefficient and high-maintenance, but they struggle when weather conditions are anything other than perfect.
In Germany, energy shortages continue to plague large cities like Berlin that converted much of their grid to solar and wind, only to now realize that they made a big mistake.
"With this supply of wind and photovoltaic energy, it's between 0 and 2 or 3 percent – that is de facto zero," says Dr. Harald Schwarz, a professor of power distribution at the Cottbus University of Technology in Germany.
"You can see it in many diagrams that we have days, weeks, in the year where we have neither wind nor PV. Especially this time (winter) for example – there is no wind and PV, and there are often times when the wind is very miniscule. These are things, I must say, that have been physically established and known for centuries, and we’ve simply totally neglected this during the green energies discussion."
Unlike North America and parts of Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa are sticking with tried-and-true fossil fuels because they know these are necessary for any economy to remain prosperous. What the United States is doing under Beijing Biden, on the other hand, is a recipe for total economic collapse.
