“Non-partisan” debate commission linked to phony Steele dossier, Color Revolution and other left-wing schemes

On its surface, the Commission on Presidential Debates might appear, at least for the most part, to be non-partisan. Beyond the veneer, however, is a cesspool of left-wing corruption and systemic bias working overtime to unseat President Trump and prevent his reelection.

Frank Fahrenkopf, the commission's co-chair, is also the co-founder of an organization called "Color Revolution" that, believe it or not, is linked to the phony Steele dossier that fueled the anti-Trump Russian collusion hoax.

Fahrenkopf also co-founded and is a current board member of the International Republican Institute (IRI), a propaganda outlet that for decades was run by the late John McCain, a vocal anti-Trumper and neoconservative warmonger who epitomized what it means to be a deep state swamp creature.

Despite claiming to be a Republican himself, Fahrenkopf in reality is a McCain-esque establishment hack who, along with his Democrat co-chair, seeks to undermine President Trump and prevent his reelection.

"A Debate Commission consisting of John McCain and Hillary Clinton would be technically bipartisan, but it would not be balanced when it comes to Trump and his supporters," reports Zero Hedge, illustrating this point.

"Globalist Republicans and globalist Democrats have far more in common with each other than they do with Trump."

McCain scolded Trump on Twitter for defunding the IRI

Another case-in-point illustrating the systemic bias that underlies the Debate Commission was a tweet from McCain just months before he died that in essence scolded President Trump for defunding the IRI, at which McCain served as Chairman of the Board for 25 years.

"The work of #NEDemocracy @IRIglobal & @NDI to foster the infrastructure of democracy – freedom of the press, political parties & rule of law – is invaluable," McCain wrote, adding that "Congress must continue to fund these important institutions."

Billionaire "philanthropist" George Soros and his Open Society Foundation were likewise furious that Trump would dare to "downscale" this so-called "democracy promotion event" at the State Department.

The Washington Post reported that the already scheduled event at the White House had to be scaled down and shortened due to Trump's decision, prompting Soros and others to "cautiously" scheme a different way forward in an alternate capacity.

"The Open Society Foundations, Freedom House and the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law are moving forward with bringing hundreds of democracy activists to Washington, even though they have no idea if there will be a formal ministerial meeting or any substantial U.S. government involvement," the Post reported, as relayed by Zero Hedge.

"Morton Halperin, a senior adviser to the Open Society Foundation and a co-chair of the Community of Democracies' international steering committee, said that the United States has an obligation to host the ministerial meeting as every other presidency has done, despite in many cases an intervening election and change of government."

As it turns out, Soros was a major contributor to the McCain Foundation, further illustrating the ties that all of these anti-Trump groups and personalities have with one another.

Other deep state players associated with Fahrenkopf who also serve on the IRI board include career politician Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Gov. H.R. McMaster, and Utah Sen. Mitt Romney.

David Kramer, another IRI board member, McCain aide, and Fahrenkopf associate is perhaps most famous for leaking the Steele dossier falsely implicating Trump for colluding with Russia to steal the 2016 elections. Kramer is also an outspoken globalist who supports forever wars, "free trade" policies that harm American industry, and censorship of "hate speech."

"The IRI is deeply and intimately associated with one of Trump's most vicious rivals, whose board members have promoted the discredited Steele dossier and are openly supporting Biden on Twitter," Zero Hedge notes.

"IRI's official stated position on the George Floyd issue is directly in keeping with the rhetorical narratives fueling the Antifa and BLM fires that are part and parcel of the Color Revolution against Trump."
