According to Trump, the CDC's acquisition of all this taxpayer money, some of which is also going to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), will ensure that these agencies "have the resources they need to Keep America Safe and keep the risk to workers and families very low."
"This is great news for our Health, our Economy, and our Nation!" Trump added, inserting his usual anomalous capitalization of certain words and phrases.
The actual amount being awarded to these three federal agencies is $8.3 billion, and once the Senate approves it, Trump plans to sign it. But what few are pointing out is that the CDC conveniently let this novel virus spread for weeks and weeks to the point that there's now a reason for the agency to ask for the cash in the first place.
Besides delaying testing, the CDC deliberately released one coronavirus-infected person into a local mall in San Antonio, Texas, where this individual walked around for hours.
The CDC had previously lied to the American public about this individual supposedly not even being infected. After it was determined that the individual was, in fact, infected, the CDC lied about this person having no contact with the public.
There have also been a slew of other poor decisions made by the CDC during this crisis, including the deliberate non-testing for 11 days of an individual suspected, and later confirmed, to have the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19).
All along the way, the CDC has been dropping the ball, in other words, when it comes to properly handling this situation in such a way as to avoid community spread of the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) here in the U.S. And rather than punish the agency, President Trump is eager to award it with your hard-earned money in the form of a massive cash infusion.
Listen below as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, discusses natural ways to help naturally protect yourself against the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) with anti-viral herbs and minerals:
Vice President Mike Pence, whom President Trump made his coronavirus "czar," has engaged in similarly unsettling behavior in recent days concerning the federal government's handling of this ongoing crisis.
During a recent press conference, Pence stated that "the risk of the coronavirus to the average American remains low." However, when he was asked whether uninsured people will have access to new testing protocols that are to be paid for by taxpayers, Pence actually walked off the stage and didn't even respond.
For an administration that claims to embrace transparency and honesty, this was quite a slap in the face by Pence against poor people who, despite paying their taxes, may not have access to the coronavirus tools being brought to bear by the Feds.
"Throwing money at the corrupt and incompetent NIH and CDC will not solve the problem," wrote one Zero Hedge commenter about the business-as-usual approach being implemented by the Trump administration.
"Now he is going to pay them billions for the fact that they have deliberately withheld testing (and still are) from sick people for almost two months?"
