The rising anti-Semitism is becoming alarming for Jews, to be sure, but it’s also concerning to other Americans who are cognizant of the history of persecution against Jews and are afraid that America, of all places on Earth, is becoming an enabler of this dangerous form of bigotry.
What’s also notable is most of the anti-Jewish sentiment is growing in places we’re told are full of “tolerant” Democrats: New York and New Jersey. The most recent examples of violence towards Jews proves this.
Earlier this month, two members of an anti-Semite fringe group went on a deadly shooting rampage at a New Jersey kosher market, killing three Jewish people there before gunning down a police officer. They were members of the Black Hebrew Israelites, many of who subscribe to “an extreme set of anti-Semitic beliefs,” according to the Press Herald newspaper. They believe that blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans are really the true descendants of the 12 Tribes of Israel.
Then, over the weekend, a black man stormed into a Hanukkah celebration at a rabbi’s home near New York City with a machete and began slashing away at attendees. As USA Features News reports, Grafton Thomas, 37, faces five counts of attempted murder and one count of burglary. Federal prosecutors have also filed hate crime charges against him after discovering “handwritten journals at Thomas’ home expressing anti-Semitic views that included references to Adolph Hitler and ‘Nazi culture,’” the news site noted further.
C. Douglas Golden, writing at the Western Journal, discussed how anti-Semitism was spreading:
The New York City area has seen a startling rise in alleged anti-Semitic hate crimes. Even though this isn't limited to the immediate environs of Gotham -- federal statistics and the deadly synagogue shootings in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Poway, California, are evidence enough of that -- the incidents in the nation's largest metropolitan area have been both frequent and worrying of late.
Is that because New York officials are enabling these attacks? A good case could be made for that. Consider that hours before Thomas’ attack, a female suspect in a separate anti-Semitic crime was released from jail on her own recognizance under ‘criminal reform’ statutes and policies that no longer require cash bail.
And she’s not the first, by a long shot. This is happening so frequently that local and regional law enforcement officials are blaming NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration as well as a soon-to-be-enacted law on ‘bail reform.’ (Related: Trump-hating, Jew-hating terrorist murders Jewish Americans at Saturday synagogue slaughter.)
The woman, Tiffany Harris, was in a Brooklyn courtroom the morning of the attack at the rabbi’s home as a suspect in a beating incident in the Crown Heights neighborhood, which is home to a large Hasidic population. She is accused of attacking three Hasidic women while yelling, “F**k you, Jews!”
“The de Blasio administration has made it clear that we all need to get into compliance with bail reform now,” a source in law enforcement told the New York Post. “If prosecutors had asked for bail, corrections would release them immediately" or on Jan. 1.
As more Jewish residents are attacked and killed, there is little doubt that Jewish communities will become more vocal in their criticism of the de Blasio administration and that of Gov. Andrew Cuomo — both Democrats — who are responsible for enacting policies that endanger lives and reward anti-Semitism.
And, as The National Sentinel reported, this rising Jew hate is most definitely being caused and enabled by the Donkey Party.
“This is Democrats’ fault, without question. Their party is the party that harbors anti-Semites like Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Their party is the party that is attracting new anti-Semites to run for congressional seats,” the site reports.
