Known as the "California Healthy Youth Act," the horrific mandate will require that all public school children in the Golden State be subjected to indoctrinating new "curriculum" in the classroom that advocates for abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, and all sorts of other evils and perversions being pushed by deranged Leftists on underage children as "healthy" ways to live their lives.
As explained by Calvin Freiburger, writing for Life Site News, the bill itself claims to be a tool for "equipping" children to develop "healthy attitudes" about "gender [and] sexual orientation," among other things – and all under the guise of "health."
"It also says it will inform students about the 'effectiveness and safety of all FDA-approved contraceptive methods,' and facilitate 'objective discussion' about 'parenting, adoption, and abortion,'" Freiburger adds.

It's important to note that the California Healthy Youth Act goes far beyond just teaching children about LGBT lifestyles. Among the teaching materials approved under its tenets is a "study guide" for the transgender children's book I Am Jazz, as well as a corresponding "sexual health toolkit."
Inside this "toolkit," which is being funded by the George Soros-backed Tides Center, children will have access to "tips" about how to use "sex toys" and "anal lubricant." This same toolkit will further explain how activities like "phone sex" and "anal intercourse" are "common sexual behaviors" – and thus no big deal, no matter one's age.
"What if you don't have time or money to buy sex toys?" the guide reportedly asks on page C-51. "Cucumbers, carrots, and bananas (with the peel) make great dildos. Just remember to use a condom!" it further emphasizes.
On the flip side, the "toolkit" tells children that abstinence from any and all sexual activity is a "con," and something to be avoided because it "requires motivation, self-control and communication from both partners" – in other words, personal responsibility, a concept that Leftists see as deplorable.
A growing contingent of concerned parents in Orange County, located just to the south of Los Angeles, is rallying the troops to fight back against this insanity, in part by encouraging as many parents as possible to keep their kids at home.
While the California Healthy Youth Act expressly states that parents have the right to "excuse their children from participation" in any classes at school that include such curriculum, Orange County Public Schools isn't recognizing this clause – which means it's up to parents to do the right thing on their own.
"The Orange County Department of Education feels it is their right to GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO DISAGREE WITH THEM," stressed one local mother, Heidi St. John, pointing out the audacity of this affront to parental rights. "These are our children! They do not belong to the schools."
St. John is urging California parents to not only contact their local school boards, along with Democratic Assemblywoman Shirley Weber, the bill's author, to express their opposition to the new curriculum, she's also pushing for parents to pull their children out of school for the specific purpose of ratcheting up as many unexcused absences as possible.
"The reason your public school demands you call to excuse a child's absence is because they lose state and federal dollars on every unexcused absence," she writes. "If you really want to make an impact, hit them where it hurts."
