For instance, as The National Sentinel reported Monday, the major media have skewed coverage of the U.S. Border Patrol’s use of tear gas and pepper balls against migrant who were rushing the San Ysidro port of entry on Sunday.
Migrants were warned by Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection personnel that if they rushed the border they would be repelled, and by force if necessary. That’s precisely what happened; migrants determined to break into the United States who were not interested in seeking asylum charged the border.
But they did more than that. What isn’t being covered by the establishment press is the fact that many of those migrants were heaving rocks at U.S. border security personnel, hitting and injuring a number of them according to San Diego Chief Border Patrol Agent Rodney Scott. What’s more, he said, the mostly young male migrants were using women and children as shields, which he says happens quite often. So that picture of a woman and two small children that has been featured by the mainstream media being “gassed” by U.S. Border Patrol agents occurred a) after migrants had been warned; and b) as a result of agents coming under assault.
“Several agents were actually struck by rocks,” Scott said, The Daily Caller reported. “What we saw over and over yesterday was that the group — the caravan, as we call them — would push women and children to the front and then begin, basically, rocking our agents.”
“They use women and children regularly,” National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd, also told The Daily Caller.

Nevertheless, the press is outraged — outraged — that Border Patrol agents would go so far as to protect themselves as well as the integrity of the United States’ international boundary. (Related: The caravan trying to invade the USA is almost entirely military-aged males… almost no women or children anywhere.)
“You took issue with the idea that these were people seeking asylum. The caravan, though, 5,000 to 9,000, depending on which count you believe that is in Tijuana right now, those are people coming to the border, as far as you know, for asylum, isn’t it?” CNN’s John Berman asked Scott.
“I do not believe that is true,” Scott replied. “What I saw at the border yesterday was not people walking up to Border Agents and asking to claim asylum. Matter of fact, one of the groups that I watched … they passed 10 or 15 marked Border Patrol agents walking … west to east, numerous uniformed personnel, as they were chanting, waving a Honduran flag and throwing rocks at the agents.”
So agents responded. But really — why is the establishment press so outraged? And why weren’t they when agents during the Obama administration reacted to a similar situation in the same manner?
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported on Nov. 25, 2013, that agents used tear gas along the same border sector — San Ysidro, which is near San Diego — after a group of migrants approached a single agent and refused commands to stop. After he came under assault from rocks and bottles, additional agents showed up and fired pepper balls and tear gas to disperse the invaders.

Other reports noted that the 2013 incident had been planned for at least a week.
Yet, when the Obama administration repelled the invaders, all was good with Democrats and their Left-wing mainstream media enablers.
The hypocrisy from the fake news media is typical, but it still never fails to shock.
