This legal immunity would only apply to adults who have children, though – this being Sen. Feinstein's personal attempt at politicizing the ongoing illegal immigrant fiasco at the border. Because of all the media coverage about illegal immigrant children allegedly being separated from their illegal immigrant parents at border detention facilities, Sen. Feinstein is apparently doing her part to virtue signal the controversy for her own political gain.
According to attorney Gabriel Malor from The Federal, Sen. Feinstein's bill would provide that "[a]n agent or officer of a designated agency shall be prohibited from removing a child from his or her parent or legal guardian at or near the port of entry or within 100 miles of the border of the United States," suggesting that any crimes committed in these areas by people with children will instantly be considered non-crimes.
Malor warns about four immediate warning signs in this unconstitutional bill that point to this, including:
1) The bill places no limitations on the scope of its regulation to agencies that are specifically involved with dealing with border issues.
2) The term "agent or officer" is only partially defined to include contractors, though it otherwise includes every federal employee, potentially including FBI agents, Secret Service agents, and even officers of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
3) The term "child" in the bill is defined as any person under the age of 18 who does not have permanent immigration status. This definition, according to Malor, includes U.S. citizens under the age of 18 because "citizen children by definition have no immigration status, permanent or otherwise."
4) In seeking to define the geographic area where it would apply, the bill does a very poor job of limiting the scope to "at or near the port of entry or within 100 miles of the border." Malor says that this includes "almost the entirety of the geographical territory of the United States and the vast majority of people living in it," seeing as how 200 million people live within 100 miles of a national border.
In other words, Sen. Feinstein wants all adults with children in the U.S. to be able to commit any crimes they wish, all because she's just so "heartbroken" over all of the fake news stories about illegal alien children being wretched from their parents' arms along the U.S.-Mexico border – most of which are completely fabricated anyway.
How you can tell that Sen. Feinstein isn't at all sincere in her concern for families being "separated" is that she couldn't care less about the millions of unborn babies that are murdered every single year in their mothers' wombs here in the U.S., nor is she at all bothered by the fact that pharmaceutical drugs, vaccines, genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) are harming and killing children left and right.
The only thing Sen. Feinstein cares about is trying to capitalize on mainstream media ire against President Trump, who's been a whipping boy on this issue until the other day when he signed an executive order that keeps illegal alien children with their illegal alien parents during border processing procedures – which begs the question, what will these leftist loons find to criticize him over next?
