Couching her blatant sexism as "inclusivity" and "equality," Suzanna Danuta Walters, who also teaches sociology at NU, argues that all women have an inherent right to hate all men because of the "millennia of woe" that men – all of them – have apparently inflicted upon all women since the beginning of time.
Unless a man agrees to only vote for feminist women, to not ever run for office, and to never "be in charge of anything," then he can freely be hated upon by women, according to Walters, who in her commentary describes the United States as "the land of legislatively legitimated toxic masculinity."
Citing a few recent alleged cases of sexual abuse against women by males like Eric Schneiderman and Harvey Weinstein, Walters feels justified in painting a broad brush of hate across all men. Because of her personal feelings about the opposite sex, Walters feels as though it's completely "logical to hate men," and she even goes so far as to scoff at women who don't.
"My edge has been crossed for a long time," the genderless-looking school employee writes. "Seen in this indisputably true context, it seems logical to hate men."
Walters even takes issue with Michelle Obama, who's actually among those arguing that not all men are responsible for the types of abuses that feminists like Walters are stereotypically accusing them of committing. In Walters' view, all men are evil, and all of them need to emasculate themselves in order to meet her demands.
"Start with this: Lean out so we can actually just stand up without being beaten down," Walters writes, denigrating the dignity of men.
"Pledge to vote for feminist women only. Don’t run for office. Don’t be in charge of anything. Step away from the power. We got this,” she elaborated. “And please know that your crocodile tears won’t be wiped away by us anymore. We have every right to hate you. You have done us wrong. #BecausePatriarchy. It is long past time to play hard for Team Feminism. And win."
Based on the looks of Walters in her NU staff photo, there's certainly not a chance that any self-respecting man would ever want to get anywhere near her, let alone try to take advantage of her. It's a laughable notion that Walters obviously expects men everywhere to take seriously as they sustain this mutant's litany of verbal abuse.
But more than likely almost none of them will – and that's obviously a good thing. In fact, it would be completely illogical for any man to not hate all insane feminists like Walters and laugh in their faces whenever they spew this type of nonsense. Any so-called man who receives this message and says, "Yeah, she's right," would be almost as nutty as she is.
In responding to this nationally publicized hate monologue, another of the school's employees, Northeastern University Media Relations Specialist, Shannon Nargi, told Campus Reform the following:
"Northeastern University steadfastly supports a safe and inclusive learning and working environment in which hate has no place. The university has more than 1,000 faculty members whose viewpoints span the entire political spectrum. Consistent with our unwavering commitment to academic freedom, the opinions of an individual professor do not reflect the views of the university or its leadership. Northeastern is committed to fostering an environment in which controversial ideas can be discussed, debated, and challenged."
