During his time that he spent embedded within the Russian nuclear industry, Campbell gathered evidence regarding two “pay for play” schemes that were directly connected to the United States uranium industry. First, Campbell learned that Moscow had compromised Transport Logistics International (TLI), an American uranium trucking firm, which was in direct violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. TLI "bribed a Russian nuclear official in exchange for a contract transport Russian-mined U.S. uranium," which among other things included “yellowcake” uranium that was secured in the now infamous Uranium One Deal.
Second, Campbell discovered a scheme taking place between Russian nuclear officials and the Clinton Global Initiative, whereby millions of dollars were to be routed to the charity through the lobbying firm ARPCO. Additionally, ARPCO was expected to send a portion of its annual $3 million lobbying fee to the Clinton Global Initiative.
“The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months,” Campbell said. “APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the U.S.-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement.” (Related: A bombshell report reveals a massive deep state conspiracy to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.)
After John Solomon of The Hill and Sara Carter of Circa News reported on the evidence that Campbell was able to collect regarding the Clinton charity and the Obama administration, Michael Isikoff of Yahoo News published a hit piece on Campbell, claiming that he would be a “disaster” as a witness due to the fact that some of his claims are not documented.
But the truth is, Michael Isikoff is nothing but a political hack who secretly worked with the Democratic National Committee to obtain the FISA warrant against Carter Page from the Trump campaign. As the recently released memo on FISA abuse prepared by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes states:
“The Carter Page FISA application also cited extensively a September 23, 2016 Yahoo News article by Michael Isikoff, which focused on Page’s July 2016 trip to Moscow. This article does not corroborate the Steele dossier because it is derived from information leaked by Steele himself to Yahoo News.”
The memo goes on to say contrary to what the Page FISA application says, Steele did provide information to Yahoo News in September of 2016 “at the direction of Fusion GPS.”
If all of this information regarding the FBI and the liberals’ secret plot to take down then-candidate Donald Trump, it’s that corruption is far more rampant within our government than we initially thought. Many individuals within some of the highest offices in the land are committed to working not on the behalf of the American people, but rather for the advancement of the progressive agenda. (Related: Following the release of the FISA memo, John McCain says that “we are helping Putin.”)
It’s also taught us a lot about the mainstream media, which doesn’t seem to be at all interested in reporting the truth and instead is dedicated to taking down the President of the United States and defending the Democrat Party against those seeking to expose them.
Only time will tell what else is going on behind closed doors within the federal government, but one thing we do know for sure is that it’s bound to get a lot worse before it gets better.
