That’s what Democrats and their mind-numbed robotic drone supporters have been parroting now for weeks. After the Trump-Russia “collusion” story fell through, they had to come up with something else — another albatross to hang around the president’s neck, on their way to getting him out of the Oval Office and running him completely out of Washington, D.C.
Only, Trump isn’t playing along. Neither is his physician.
On Tuesday Trump passed his annual physical and mental health exams, the latter with a perfect score of 30-out-of-30 (the average is 27.5; 26 is deemed “normal;” the average for someone with cognitive impairment is 22.1).
30 out of 30, Dems. Boy, don’t you folks just hate that.
As reported by the UK’s Daily Mail, the test the president took is called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, or MoCA. It was devised in 1996 for medical experts to measure cognitive damage and mild dysfunction. The test is designed to assess concentration, memory, language, attention span, orientation, visual skills and higher function.
It’s designed to measure whether or not you’ve still got all your marbles, in other words. Whether or not you’re still playing with a full deck and, what’s more, understand that you’ve got a full deck.
Trump is not only playing with a full deck, he’s dealing from the bottom when it comes to thwarting Democrats’ plans to remove him from office.
First used in Montreal, Canada, the test is now one of the most respected methods of assessing cognitive health worldwide, available in 55 languages and dialects, and formats for testing illiterate patients and in other cultural settings (by changing certain references).
30 out of 30, Dems. (Related: American Psychiatric Association warns left-wing psychiatrists to stop “diagnosing” President Trump without a medical examination… a total violation of medical ethics.)
Tests include visually determining the order of letters and numbers, correctly identifying animals, copying a cube, and drawing a clock to show “10 after 11.”
There are other tests, but you get the idea. Cognitive function is wholly and accurately measured.
Now, can Trump stand to lose a little weight? Yep. He’s got a body mass index (BMI) of 29.9. Also, he takes an anti-baldness medication (come on, does that really shock you?). And he could change up his diet some. But overall, his health is “excellent,” said White House physician U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, who said he saw no indications at all of any cognitive impairment or dementia.
What’s even more outrageous about Democrats’ accusations is that Jackson said based on his daily observations of President Trump, he would never have recommended a mental exam in the first place. However, he said Trump asked for the test himself, no doubt with an eye towards proving his [Democratic] mind detractors wrong.
“I had absolutely no concerns about his cognitive ability or his, you know, his neurological function,” Jackson said. “So I was not going to do a cognitive exam. I had no intention of doing one.”
But, he added, “The reason that we did the cognitive assessment is, plain and simple, because the president asked me to do it. He came to me and said, ‘Is there something we can do, a test or some type of screening that we can do, to assess my cognitive ability?’ And so I looked into it,” Jackson added.
He noted further that the Montreal test is “sensitive enough” to identify any potential problems with brain function.
“I would pick up on it,” he told reporters. “He would not have gotten 30 out of 30 on the test.”
Mind you, I don’t expect any of this to satisfy his Democratic detractors — no matter how deranged they are (including this one — and yeah, the sequin cowboy hat is part of her, um, personality).
But they’ll just have to keep screaming about how he is mentally unfit without any data to back it up.
Which is, you know, crazy.
