(Natural News) So far, we know that movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is a liberal democrat and a pervert who enjoys begging women to get intimate with him. Now, we may be able to add “pharmaceutical drug addict” to that list as well.

Page Six was recently provided a photograph from an anonymous source of Harvey Weinstein sitting aboard a commercial flight at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport last December with a case full of prescription drugs and pill bottles resting on his lap.

According to the source, when another passenger on the plane asked Weinstein about his collection of drugs, Weinstein replied, “Oh, I’ve got a cold.” That excuse is hard to believe, though, considering the fact that most people who have a scratchy throat or a runny nose don’t bring an entire case full of pills with them on a commercial flight.

Another source that has been familiar with Weinstein for several years told Page Six, “He always had that briefcase of drugs. He carries his whole medicine cabinet with him – even stuff he isn’t taking at the time.”

In a statement to Page Six, representatives for Harvey Weinstein defended the millionaire movie mogul, explaining: “The prescription bottles seen in the photo are medications prescribed by Mr. Weinstein’s physicians for treatment of diabetes and other ongoing health conditions.”

Harvey Weinstein has been in the news lately after it was revealed that the Hollywood producer has a long, dark history of harassing and sexually assaulting women. Numerous actresses, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and several others, have come forward accusing Weinstein of touching them inappropriately, asking them for massages, and other sexual acts. The revelations have started to shine some light on what is probably a much more widespread issue in Hollywood, and hopefully actresses will continue to speak up about it in the months to come. (Related: Ben Affleck, Jimmy Kimmel and Harvey Weinstein have all been exposed as liberal Hollywood elites who abuse women.)

Many people are left wondering how Harvey Weinstein even sleeps at night after his true colors were finally revealed to the entire world. Perhaps the case of drugs that he carries around with him everywhere he goes helps out on that front, or maybe he has simply figured out a way to push it out of his mind completely. In fact, if a recent report from The Daily Caller is correct, then the latter may not be that far from the truth.

Earlier this week, The Daily Caller published a story on a report that alleges that Harvey Weinstein is now insisting that he’s been chosen to “change the world,” and that all of the accusations being made against him are happening for the greater good. Allegedly, one source who has come forward explained that Weinstein is becoming philosophical with the situation he has found himself in, assuring his friends “that [he] was born to take the fall for his behavior in order to ‘change the world.’ He is resigned to his punishment – as a martyr for social change.”

In other words, because of him, all of these actresses are coming forward and speaking out about sexual harassment in Hollywood, thereby changing the movie industry for the better. Does Weinstein want us all to give him a round of applause and a pat on the back? How delusional and self-inflated does one have to be to think that way?

Between the rampant liberalism and the grotesque sexual harassment that is apparently more of a widespread problem than we first thought, it is safe to say that Hollywood has officially become a cesspool. It’s unfortunate, but this downward spiral will most likely continue with no end in sight.
