Mass shooting in Texas church follows left-wing media’s incessant demonization of Christians
11/05/2017 // Mike Adams // Views

Tragedy has struck Texas today as a mass shooting near San Antonio, Texas has claimed the lives of a least 27 people who were attending church. According to numerous reports, a gunman opened fire inside the church, killing 27 and wounding dozens of others, before finally being shot and killed by police as he attempted to flee the scene. (It is notable that churchgoers had to wait for police to arrive before any return fire was aimed at the gunman.)

"KSAT reports that Wilson County Commissioner Albert Gamez Jr. said the shooter fled the scene in a vehicle and is dead after a short police pursuit," reports Breitbart.com.

We do not yet know the motivation of the shooter, the race of the shooter (or congregation), whether the shooter was motivated by terrorism, hatred or political reasons. What we do know, however, is that the left-wing media has been preaching hatred and division that targets Christians for at least the last five years. Christian are routinely demonized in the left-wing media, and intolerance and hatred have been increasingly pushed by the radical Left in America, creating more strife and division across our culture. (See this article for a more detailed list of how the left-wing media has openly endorsed and promoted violence and murder against their political enemies, which include Christians.)

That same political Left that has been calling for the killing of conservative speakers or political leaders is now calling for nationwide gun control, mere minutes after news broke of the Sutherland Springs shooting. Many people on social media are strongly speaking out against the Left's politicization of this event.

Many churches are designated "gun-free zones," where pastors do not allow congregation members to bring guns into the service for self-defense purposes. We do not yet know whether this church in particular was a gun-free zone. However, many shootings over the last few years have intentionally targeted gun-free zones, knowing their victims would be unable to shoot back.

A two-year-old child is reportedly among the shooting victims. The 14-year-old daughter of the pastor is also reportedly among the dead.

Democrats will use this tragedy to try to make the entire country a "gun-free" kill zone

No matter what the motivations or affiliations of the shooter, the left-wing media will use this tragedy to call for nationwide gun control, thereby making the entire country a "gun-free" kill zone for innocent people. Those of us who seek to protect life and stop violence by carrying tools of self-defense must maintain our courage and vigilance in demanding our right to protect the lives of loves ones against murderous violence.

Do not let the Democrats turn America into a nationwide kill zone. The right to self-defense is a divine right, and these tragic events do not nullify the divine rights of individuals seeking to protect loves ones from tragedy. Follow more news on this and other shootings at Shootings.news.
