Grabbagreen, an Arizona-based franchise, which just made its Colorado debut this month in the city of Denver, features a naturally gluten-free menu with foods that are also devoid of GMOs and preservatives. The semi-organic, whole foods choices include a full selection of grain and green-based bowls accompanied by hormone-free, antibiotic-free proteins that are provided by local farming operations.
In addition, the menu features fresh-pressed juices and handcrafted smoothies, acai bowls, and even some kid-friendly items along with a healthful breakfast menu to help you get your day started off right. In fact, the breakfast menu is available all day long, according to Restaurant News.
“We are in the business of health, fitness and people and Denver has been craving something healthy and fast for their on-the-go lifestyles,” said Tim Johnson of Green Cherry Hills, LLC, the owner of the Denver franchise. “As we continue to build the healthy community in Denver, I just knew Grabbagreen would make a great fit.”
Besides just serving up healthy fare, all of the signature menu items on Grabbagreen are same-day fresh and prepared-to-order. The chain also offers several options for customers to tailor their meals with the popular “Grab Your Own” option, with flavors to meet every individual pallet and dietary requirements.
“You can’t make an unhealthy choice at Grabbagreen and we feel that [the new Cherry Hills location] is one of Denver’s best areas for retail, restaurants and lifestyles. We are ecstatic to expand the franchise and lead the charge in making fast food, healthy,” Johnson added.
Grabbagreen is just one of the latest trending restaurants in the fast food industry that offers healthy, organic and non-GMO choices. As Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, lauded Chipotle’s decision in the spring of 2015 to begin serving 100-percent non-GMO food items on its menu:
The free market victories against the sleazy biotech industry are coming at a rapid pace now, and the latest announcement is a real game changer: Chipotle Mexican Grill has outright rejected all GMOs and, as of today, is now serving all non-GMO ingredients in its foods.
And while its menu certainly leaves a lot to be desired, even McDonald’s has moved to include healthier choices.
The point is, the public is speaking up and speaking out about healthy food, and as Adams noted, the free market is responding with better choices that include GMO-free, gluten-free and chemical-free foods.
