The company, Native Hemp Solutions, worked with CWC Labs to develop the world's first mass spec CBD quantitation method using Time of Flight scientific instrumentation. The method allows for the measurement of CBD concentrations with a kind of accuracy that has never before existed in the hemp industry.
During the development of this amazing new technology, Adams – who spearheaded the 8-month effort – said he discovered two things about today’s hemp industry. First, that most labs don’t really understand what they’re doing because they are using outmoded systems to measure CBD, leading to wildly inaccurate results that are also inconsistent. Second, he said, though there are many honest hemp extract products on the market today, there are also a number of fraudulent, counterfeit products that are “wildly inaccurate” in their labeling.
During the course of developing his breakthrough content analytical technique, Adams said he personally tested several brand-name hemp products that were off by an astounding 500 percent in their label claims. That said, his unwavering support for the hemp industry is primarily what drove him to find a way to ensure quality, purity and, most of all, accuracy in content labeling.
And that’s what using Time of Flight scientific instrumentation at CWC Labs is all about: CBD content accuracy. And it led to the creation of Native Hemp Solutions.
The product “is a whole hemp extract, using a unique spagyric extraction process that preserves the minerals, adaptogens and a multitude of minor cannabinols such as CBG and CBN. Delta-9 THC is laboratory verified to be near zero (trace only), making it legal in all 50 states and off the controlled substance list of the DEA,” Adams said.
“This ‘whole hemp extract’ is derived from the full spectrum of certain parts of the plant, obviously not including the buds (which are high THC). Instead, it's derived from the high-CBD components of the plant such as stalks and seeds,” he added.
“It comes from plants which have been naturally selected over many generations to produce high CBD and low THC. This is why the CBD content is so high in this natural spagyric extract.
Adams says he is 100 percent certain that there is “no hemp product bottler in America” using anything close to the advanced technology and methodology at CWC Labs.
“Nobody in the industry has achieved this level of science,” he said. “Nobody.”
