(NaturalNews) When the state of New York, led by members of the lunatic left-wing fringe, hailed strict new gun control measures which included a seven-round limit on ammunition magazines, those of us who understand or have experienced the heated dynamics of armed confrontation were aghast at how little regard those elected officials had for the safety of their citizens.

Seven rounds, we argued, were likely to prove to be far too few in any number of instances or circumstances, including situations where a citizen or homeowner might be faced with multiple armed attackers.

Now, a new video dramatization "demonstrates in shocking, living color one reason gun-rights advocates resist bans on high-capacity magazines for firearms: Armed thugs don't always attack alone," WorldNetDaily reports. (Watch the video here)

Horrible reality

The video, produced by MB Studio Productions, which is calling it a "public service announcement," depicts a hair-raising, yet truly believable, scenario in which armed intruders break into a house when a family is home. The family calls 911 - you know, like the left-wing anti-gun nuts tell us to do - while the father quickly retrieves his locked pistol from a gun safe. After fending off the first intruder, the father stands as the second intruder prepares to enter the home, obviously horrified, because his gun is empty.

"The dramatization's final scene is tragic, and the video concludes with the words, 'Because your government decided how many rounds you need to protect your family,'" WorldNetDaily said.

Since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, Conn., in December, gun-grabbing politicians at all levels have been screaming for new regulations that would, among other things, ban dozens of currently legal firearms and limit the number of rounds you can place in your ammunition magazines.

In addition to New York state's limit of seven rounds, Oak Park, Ill., has imposed a 10-round limit on magazines there. More communities and states are considering similar restrictions, and the White House has vowed to renew its push gun-control push later this year.

The owner of MB Studio Productions, Brian Lockerman, explained at the beginning of the video that it will only be the first of many to come illustrating "who these laws really affect and why they don't work."

"I am passionate about protecting our Second Amendment rights because I know this is the right that protects all other rights," Lockerman says on a company website. "I am not going to tell you that you have to own a gun. It's not for everyone. But the push to take away the individual freedom and Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms is rooted in fear and misunderstanding."

Continuing, he added, "Your constitutional rights are threatened because anti-gun people seem to defy all reason and sanity with their beliefs and fears. Most of them have been taught literally zero about guns, have never held one in their hands and are terrified by the thought of them. We can't approach this perception problem by simply telling our pro-self-protection, pro-gun side of the story."

'Shoot to Thrill'

Isn't it a nice change to see someone using their First Amendment right to promote and protect the rest of the Bill of Rights?

Lockerman says he will next begin producing a reality-based television show called "Shoot to Thrill," that emphasizes a message that if every person who enjoys shooting just brought someone to a firing range who does not shoot, the non-shooter will be won over and become a Second Amendment protector as well.

"The way we are going to make meaningful change is by counteracting fear with facts. 'Shoot to Thrill' will tell the story of millions of Americans who are dedicated to responsible gun ownership," he says.
