(NaturalNews) In the days following FBI Director James Comey's unbelievable announcement in July
that he would not recommend Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton be indicted for using a unsecured private email server during her tenure as secretary of state, few knew about other remarkable aspects of the case.
For example, it wasn't widely known until weeks later that the FBI granted Huma Abedin, Clinton's closest advisor for decades and a prime target in the investigation, broad immunity in a deal that
included destruction of much of the evidence in the original case.
But a few days ago, Comey – in a letter to Congress that has sparked outrage and charges of election tampering from Democrats – told lawmakers he had reopened the once-closed investigation after being made aware of new information about the Clinton case from an unlikely source: A separate FBI investigation of Abedin's estranged husband, former Rep. Anthony Weiner, who was
allegedly caught sexting an 15-year-old teenager.

As
reported by
The Wall Street Journal, investigators discovered 650,000 emails on a laptop "that they believe was used" by Weiner and Abedin, with "underlying metadata" suggesting that "thousands of those messages could have been sent to or from" Clinton's private server.
So, how is a federal law enforcement agency allegedly hampered by a series of immunity deals, and supposedly at a loss for evidence, able to reopen a closed case? New evidence or not – shouldn't this be a done deal?
Enter the NYPD.
In an
interview with
Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM on Friday, the founder of contract private security firm Blackwater Erik Prince said that one of his sources within the department told him that the NYPD was the first to discover the 650,000 emails during its own investigation into Weiner's alleged shenanigans.
"
NYPD was the first one to look at that laptop," Prince told show host Alex Marlow. "Weiner and Huma Abedin, his wife – the closest adviser of Hillary Clinton for 20 years – have both flipped. They are cooperating with the government. They both have – they see potential jail time of many years for their crimes, for Huma Abedin sending and receiving and even storing hundreds of thousands of messages from the State Department server and from Hillary Clinton's own homebrew server, which contained classified information. Weiner faces all kinds of exposure for the inappropriate sexting that was going on and for other information that they found."
He further noted that after the NYPD's investigators saw evidence of much more
criminality – "pay for play, underage sex...plenty of proof of inappropriate handling, sending/receiving of classified information, up to SAP level Special Access Programs" – they made a copy of the contents and then contacted the FBI.
'Five offices now in the hunt for justice'
"They keep a copy of everything, and they pass a copy on to the FBI, which finally pushes the FBI off their chairs, making Comey reopen that investigation," Prince said. "The point being, NYPD has all the information, and
they will pursue justice within their rights if the FBI doesn't [emphasis added]."
The point is, even if the FBI and the wholly compromised Obama Justice Department – the latter of which is applying massive pressure on the NYPD to sit on this case, according to Prince – may be legally hampered or too politically unmotivated not to pursue this, the NYPD appears ready to move the investigation forward into the next phase: The issuing of warrants and the making of arrests.
In addition to these bombshells, Prince told
Breitbart Daily News, that it's not just the FBI; he claims that "five separate offices are in the hunt for justice...but the NYPD has it as well." But they are not without opposition, Prince reports that the Justice Department is doing their best to prevent this
information from coming to light.
"The Justice Department is trying to run out the clock, to elect Hillary Clinton, to prevent any real justice from being done," he said.
It appears as though the NYPD may not be willing to let that happen.
