(NaturalNews) There are few things more alarming (or annoying) than hearing the phone ring during the wee hours of the morning. Most people automatically assume that there is some sort of emergency, because why else would any sane person call at 4 a.m.?
You can therefore imagine the reaction of as many as 10,000 seniors in the state of Massachusetts, whose peaceful slumber was rudely interrupted by robocalls sent between 3 and 5 a.m. "reminding" them to get their flu shots.
Robocalls are irksome enough.
Robocalls at 4 a.m. are particularly infuriating.
But robocalls at 4 a.m. urging people to get their
flu vaccination shots, are enough to seriously rile even the most even-tempered individuals – senior citizens or not.
The SNAFU occurred in the early hours of December 29, 2015, after someone programmed the automated robocall system to make the calls on behalf of Tufts Health Plan at the hours of 3 to 5 a.m. instead of 3 to 5 p.m – 12 hours early.
One can only imagine the reactions.
Presumably it was an accident, and it would almost be humorous (unless of course, you were one of the ones who received the calls), except for the fact that not only should robocalls be outlawed (and their inventor tarred and feathered), but
NO ONE should ever be urged to get a flu shot.
Why, you might ask?
Flu shots are ineffective
In 2014, the
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) admitted that the flu shots administered during that year were
less than 50 percent effective against "the most dangerous and common circulating strain of the influenza virus."
Mike Adams, the Health Ranger wrote in 2014:
"The recent announcement marks the second time this year that the CDC has publicly acknowledged the 2014-2015 flu vaccine's ineffectiveness. At a scientific CDC meeting in October, officials were informed that preliminary results from three separate studies showed that the live virus version of the 2013-2014
flu vaccine provided children with little or no immunity against the year's most common circulating strain of swine flu. Since the vaccine formulation has not changed, it may be equally or more ineffective this year."
The CDC routinely employs scare tactics through overstating the danger of the flu virus. Its claim that the influenza virus kills as many as 24,000–36,000 people each year is a wild exaggeration.
The reality is that only around 500 people die each year from the flu. The CDC arrives at the ridiculously overblown numbers by lumping flu deaths in with those from pneumonia, even though the agency admits that "only 8.5% of all pneumonia and influenza deaths [are] influenza-related."
Flu shots are dangerous
Despite assurances to the contrary in the media,
flu vaccines still contain high levels of mercury, a toxic substance which causes brain damage, dementia, seizures and other potential health problems not fully researched yet.
But don't take my word for it that flu shots are not only ineffective but dangerous as well – read instead a small excerpt from the insert that accompanies the Flulaval flu
vaccine (the insert that patients are never allowed to read):
"There have been no controlled trials adequately demonstrating a decrease in influenza disease after vaccination with Flulaval ..."
"Safety and effectiveness of Flulaval in pediatric patients have not been established."
"Flulaval has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility."
Flu shots make you more prone to illness
One more thing you should know...
From Canada's
CBC News:
"People who receive flu vaccines year after year can sometimes show reduced protection, an effect that Canadian infectious disease specialists say muddies public health messages for annual flu vaccine campaigns.
"During the 2009 H1N1 pandemic, researchers at the B.C. Centre for Disease Control originally thought seasonal
flu shots from 2008 might offer extra protection against the new pandemic strain. They were puzzled to find instead, seasonal flu vaccination almost doubled the risk of infection with pandemic flu."
I rest my case.
