Sweden goes on lockdown following ISIS militant threats to decapitate and bomb citizens after invading country by posing as refugees

(NaturalNews) As Europe continues to entertain, feed, clothe and shelter hundreds of thousands of migrants and refugees from the war-torn Middle East, countries are being repaid with threats of violence and death from the region's most-feared Muslim terrorist group, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

As reported by Britain's Express (in online editions), ISIS jihadis have sent letters to citizens of historically neutral Sweden and across Europe, ordering them to either convert to Islam within days, or face beheading in their own homes.

Persons whom authorities believe to be affiliated with ISIS, posted notes on doors of dozens of random homes in several cities across Sweden, including the capital of Stockholm, threatening to kill "non-believers" in a campaign of violence that has many terrified.

As such, Sweden is now essentially on lock-down, after letters pledged beheadings and then to "bomb your rotten corpses afterwards."

Officials confirmed that intelligence agencies are investigating the threats, each of which have been signed by ISIS, as fear gripped Swedes and others throughout Europe.

As The Express reported further:

"The notes, written in Swedish, order people to convert to Islam or pay a religious tax, known as the jizya, warning that the police 'will not save you from being murdered.'"

In addition, the letters say, "In the name of Allah, the merciful, full of grace. You who are not believers will be decapitated in three days in your own house. We will bomb your rotten corpses afterwards.

"You must choose between these three choices: 1. Convert to Islam. 2. Pay the jizya [religious tax] for protection. 3. Or else, you will be decapitated.

"The police will not prevent or save you from you being murdered. (Death comes to all of you)," the letters state.

Swedes growing weary of the government's open-door policies

One of the recipients of the messages posted it on Facebook, the news site stated.

Swedish police have said that the letters were posted on residents' doors in a number of cities besides the capital, including Vasteras, Sigtuna and Ronneby, all in recent days. Among the recipients of the letters were two Muslim asylum seekers from Iraq.

Some police officials said they were not yet sure if the notes were real and the threats genuine, but authorities were taking them seriously nonetheless. Sigtuna police chief Emile Anderson said officials from Sweden's intelligence agency, Sapo, are also investigating the posting of the letters.

Tensions in Sweden have been escalating in recent months, after some 200,000 Middle Eastern refugees have flocked there due to the country's open-door asylum policy, dramatically increasing the number of people in the sparsely populated Scandinavian country.

In fact, previous reports said that clashes broke out between refugees and Swedes in one village, while some asylum centers across the country have been burned down by opponents of the open-door policy. And in November, Swedish police raided a refugee housing unit, arresting Mutar Muthanna Majid, 22, on suspicion he was planning an ISIS-inspired attack.

'Do not make it a racism thing'

The report drew ire from some quarters. "We are sure of course that these were all thoroughly-vetted 'refugees' and this could never happen in America," said a post at Zero Hedge commenting on the Swedish lock-down.

Swedish citizens are increasingly growing weary of their government's open-ended benefits programs going to the migrants, at the expense of taxpaying citizens and public safety.

"There are no apartments, no jobs, we don't dare go shopping anymore [without a gun], but we're supposed to think everything's great," one woman named Laila said, directing her remarks to the prime minister.

"Women and girls are raped by these non-European men, who come here claiming they are unaccompanied children, even though they are grown men. ... You Cabinet Ministers live in your fancy residential neighborhoods, with only Swedish neighbors," she continued, as Zero Hedge reported. "It should be obligatory for all politicians to live for at least three months in an area consisting mostly of immigrants... [and] have to use public transport."

"Instead of torchlight processions against racism, we need a Prime Minister who speaks out against the violence... Unite everyone. ... Do not make it a racism thing," said another named Anders.
