Obama cares more about Cecil the Lion than black babies being brain damaged by vaccines

(NaturalNews) Barack Obama is probably the most polarizing figure in the White House since – okay, since George W. Bush – but he's certainly more predictable. And if you know what makes our radical Left-wing president tick, you'll completely understand why there is such a disconnect between really important issues – like high abortion rates and single-parent families within the black community – and ancillary issues that are not nearly as important in the long run, like the death of an African lion.

In recent days most Americans heard about the trophy killing of Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe, a lion that was being tracked as part of an Oxford University study while living on a game preserve. While the lion's killing by an American dentist and big game hunter in Minnesota sparked outrage in some U.S. circles, tens of millions of other Americans put the incident very low on their scale of issues that are personally important to them – especially in light the budding scandal swirling around Planned Parenthood, which stands accused of selling the body parts of aborted babies. This would include fully intact fetal corpses, apparently.

As expected, Obama is jumping on the outrage bandwagon – not because he really cares about Cecil the Lion, but because politically, he finds it advantageous and because ideologically it is an issue that resonates with him. As such, he has instructed his administration to seek out a way to punish the American dentist, Dr. Walter Palmer – putting the U.S. government at the service of Zimbabwean legal authorities who are also examining charges against Palmer for what they say was an illegal hunt.

The president's misguided priorities

As reported by Breitbart News, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe tweeted recently that his agency would investigate the "tragic killing" of Cecil:

USFWS is investigating the tragic killing of ?#CecilTheLion. Will go where facts lead. Efforts to contact Dr. Palmer so far unsuccessful.

This, despite the fact that few citizens of Zimbabwe either care about the death of the lion or do not otherwise see why such a fuss is being made about it.

"Are you saying that all this noise is about a dead lion? Lions are killed all the time in this country," Tryphina Kaseke, a used-clothes hawker in Zimbabwe, told Reuters. "What is so special about this one?"

When acting information minister Prisca Mupfumira was asked for comment following the death of Cecil, he responded, "What lion?"

The world of Palmer, who paid $50,000 to kill 13-year-old Cecil, is a very different one from that inhabited by millions of rural Africans who are more than occasionally victims of wild animal attacks.

"Why are the Americans more concerned than us?" said Joseph Mabuwa, a 33-year-old father-of-two. "We never hear them speak out when villagers are killed by lions and elephants in Hwange."

And yet, the Obama administration wants to jump in the fray over Cecil – while remaining silent over the Planned Parenthood scandal which it should be investigating and even praising the organization's "high standards."

Obama: 'Nothing to see here'

Instead, as reported by CNS News, the White House is choosing to believe that the series of videos produced as a result of an undercover investigation by the Centers for Medical Progress which appear to show PP officials negotiating for the sale of baby body parts – for profit – have been "heavily edited" to show purposely show those officials in a bad light.

When asked by a reporter recently where the White House was getting its information that the videos were distorted and unfairly edited, administration spokesman Josh Earnest replied, "Based on the public comments of Planned Parenthood who has indicated that the views that are represented in the video are entirely inconsistent with that organizations policies and with the high ethical standard they live up to."

Along these lines, neither Obama – who has made race issues a central part of his tenure – or his administration has ever addressed the problem of "Black Genocide," which notes that 78 percent of Planned Parenthood's abortion mills are located in minority communities, and that while the black population in the U.S. is 12 percent, black babies comprise 35 percent of PP's abortions annually. What's more, Obama is indifferent to the fact that one of his own Centers for Disease Control and Prevention scientists has admitted his organization hid evidence for years linking vaccines to higher rates of autism in African-Americans.

It's no wonder many blacks see a country aligned against them.

For Obama, the nation's first African American president who uses that fact only when it is advantageous for him politically, however, none of this matters. He's got a lion killer to prosecute, you see, even though most Americans and Zimbabweans find other issues far more important.
