(NaturalNews) Corporate-run media likes to make government bureaucrats appear divided, color-coded red and blue, put into republican and democrat boxing matches, but at their roots, nearly all politicians are the same, corrupted by their positions of power and the pressure of corporate money. Once in office, nearly all politicians become puppets, controlled by the demands of powerful lobbyists and industries. Nearly all elected officials have abandoned their job of protecting individual liberty and have embraced government programs as the solution. (Hell, it buys them votes at least.)
The focus of politics today is to promise benefits to the people, but those benefits come with a price. These gifts (universal health care, universal child care, universal education) come by taking more from people's incomes and redistributing that wealth. This doesn't create abundance for all. This creates a perpetual state of poverty for most everyone, allowing the wealthiest to control while suppressing the general population who has no hope but to beg for the promised government programs.
Inflation taking a toll on majority of American's food and electricity budgets
When government programs get in the way, they drive away voluntarism in the marketplace and set up a system of control. The people become slaves, allowing the government to spoon-feed them their education, healthcare and food choices. Competition dies in this process, stopping the evolution of lowering, competing prices. Most importantly, freedom dies and the population is herded into suppression.
In the 2015 State of the Union address, President Obama stated, "We've seen the fastest
economic growth in over a decade...." Lead puppet bureaucrat Obama displays this fake positivity to make his leadership appear strong, but
when the numbers are tallied for average Americans, inflation continues to push food and electricity prices up. This means the cost of living is up across the board for a majority of Americans, taking a toll on the family budget. This is why most Americans either don't watch or just laugh at Obama's State of the Union speeches now, because his view of the country's economics is so far out of touch with reality, it's vomit inducing.
As the cost of living continues to climb thanks to government policies that perpetuate
inflation, employers are having a hard time handing out cost-of-living raises to keep up, because they too are being taxed even more thanks to Obama's unaffordable care act.
Price index for meats, poultry, fish and eggs hits record high
According to recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the consumer price index for meats, poultry, fish and eggs hit a record high this month. If Obama was honest about the
state of the union, then he would admit that the prices are going up for many staple grocery items that most Americans depend on monthly. If he was truthful, he would have apologized for increasing government borrowing that floods the marketplace with excess dollars, rendering the existing cash flow less of value. If Obama wasn't such a puppet for fascism, then he would have admitted that Obamacare takes even more money from people's income or forces them to surrender their income to worthless, expensive medical insurance policies that balloon the cost of healthcare in the first place.
The BLS also stated, "the indexes for natural gas and for
electricity both increased."
Their numbers don't lie. The BLS reported that the food index "rose 0.3 percent, its largest increase since September."
"The food index rose 0.3 percent in December after a 0.2 percent increase in November," the BLS reported. "The index for
meats, poultry, fish, and eggs increased 0.3 percent as the index for beef and veal continued to rise, advancing 0.7 percent."
The 0.3 percent jump put the the index for meats, poultry, fish and eggs at a record high in December.
To put the inflation aspect in perspective, look at these numbers first reported by the BLS in 1967: The index for meats, poultry, fish and
eggs then was only 38.1. When December 2013 came around, that index hit 239.151, showing the shocking trend of inflation caused by government borrowing.
By December 2014, the index hit a record high, rising past 261.
That's a 9.1 percent increase in just one year!Contrary to Obama's economic recovery fairy tale, the BLS reports that, over the past decade, egg prices have increase 84.3 percent, and that's just the beginning. So when puppet politicians like Obama continue to cheer on economic recovery, they better come up with some statistics or evidence to back it up, because Americans are getting pretty ill listening to these lying tongues.
