Ferguson anger quickly escalating after "no indictment" decision: "We free men facing you!" - protesters taunt police

Ferguson riots

(NaturalNews) Minutes ago, the grand jury handling the Mike Brown shooting case in Ferguson, Missouri handed down a "no indictment" decision for the police officer who carried out the shooting. This decision means there was compelling evidence that the officer shot in self defense and will not be facing charges for the crime of manslaughter.

Although long anticipated, this decision is entirely unacceptable to the African-American community, which is steadfastly convinced that their young men are being deliberately murdered by white police officers. For weeks, local instigators have been planning to erupt into violence if a "no indictment" decision was handed down, and groups have drilled in almost military fashion to stage widespread riots in protest of what they see as systematic police state oppression of their communities.

In the minutes leading up to the decision, an African-American woman could be heard shouting through a megaphone on a live stream from the streets of Ferguson:

"Stop killing our kids! Stop racial profiling! This is our duty to fight for our freedom!"

Businesses shut down in anticipation of widespread property damage

Local businesses have closed down in anticipation of widespread destruction of private property, and local pawn shops and gun stores were reportedly urged to lock away all firearms in order to avoid them being stolen by rioters and looters. Gun sales have skyrocketed in the Ferguson area over the past several weeks as citizens are arming up to defend their families and property against what they see as the threat of extreme social chaos.

Thousands of law enforcement officers, National Guard troops, military police and FBI agents have descended upon the town in anticipation of the violence now expected to erupt. Local law enforcement has reportedly reached agreement with organized protest groups to abide by certain rules of engagement -- such as declaring churches to be safe havens -- but those rules still allow police to use rubber bullets, tear gas, pepper spray, tasers and other so-called "non-lethal" weapons against protesters.

Two alleged members of a militant activism group were arrested yesterday, with federal officials saying those two men were attempting to purchase explosives to use during the riots. It's not clear how those explosives were planned to be used, or which businesses or groups might have been targeted with them. Right now, there is extreme tension on both sides of the protest that the other side might escalate the situation with unjustified violence.

An oppressed people looking for a reason to express their extreme frustration with government corruption and lawlessness

From my perspective, what we're really witnessing here is the frustration and anger boiling over from a group of people who have been abandoned, oppressed and lied to by their own government. The great hope that Obama was going to make everything better has turned out to be a great lie. The economic reality of African-American communities is worse off now than it was in 2008, and the recent lawless amnesty announcement of Obama has only made the prospects far worse for young black men and women in America.

The perception that law enforcement is actively killing their young men -- whether accurate or not -- has pushed many people to a breaking point. That outrage now looks to be translated into mass protests which could very easily escalate into violent riots and clashes with law enforcement. Even when acting with remarkable restraint, law enforcement officers will sooner or later have to defend themselves against violent assaults, and that will lead to exactly the kind of bloodshed that may spark sympathetic riots in other cities. That's how this situation in Ferguson could end up causing riots in Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta and other large cities.

Natural News calls for restraint and calm

As always, we here at Natural News urge citizens and law enforcement to exercise restraint and seek to maintain calm. If this situation erupts into uncontrolled violence, nobody wins and everybody loses.

Within minutes after the grand jury decision was announced, a crowd gathered near the courthouse began shouting at riot control police, screaming things like "Y'all got those bitch-ass shields! Aw, we should knock all them m** f*** down!"

Here are some more of the verbal protests aimed directly at the police:

"All you m*** f*** are dirty! All y'all are guilty!"

"You gonna protect us? You murderers!"

"We got a bunch of free men out here who don't fear you! We ain't goin' back to slavery! These are FREE MEN facing you! These are FREE WOMEN facing you! Don't nobody fear you! Do what you want, we FREE men!"

"We got GOD on our side! You gettin' paid to do this! You are mercenaries. You are gang members! You ain't servin' us. The whole world see you. You punks, you arrested 90-year-old women, you cowards."

About the author:Mike Adams (aka the "Health Ranger") is a best selling author (#1 best selling science book on Amazon.com) and a globally recognized scientific researcher in clean foods. He serves as the founding editor of NaturalNews.com and the lab science director of an internationally accredited (ISO 17025) analytical laboratory known as CWC Labs. There, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for achieving extremely high accuracy in the analysis of toxic elements in unknown water samples using ICP-MS instrumentation. Adams is also highly proficient in running liquid chromatography, ion chromatography and mass spectrometry time-of-flight analytical instrumentation.

Adams is a person of color whose ancestors include Africans and Native American Indians. He's also of Native American heritage, which he credits as inspiring his "Health Ranger" passion for protecting life and nature against the destruction caused by chemicals, heavy metals and other forms of pollution.

Adams is the founder and publisher of the open source science journal Natural Science Journal, the author of numerous peer-reviewed science papers published by the journal, and the author of the world's first book that published ICP-MS heavy metals analysis results for foods, dietary supplements, pet food, spices and fast food. The book is entitled Food Forensics and is published by BenBella Books.

In his laboratory research, Adams has made numerous food safety breakthroughs such as revealing rice protein products imported from Asia to be contaminated with toxic heavy metals like lead, cadmium and tungsten. Adams was the first food science researcher to document high levels of tungsten in superfoods. He also discovered over 11 ppm lead in imported mangosteen powder, and led an industry-wide voluntary agreement to limit heavy metals in rice protein products.

In addition to his lab work, Adams is also the (non-paid) executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC), an organization that redirects 100% of its donations receipts to grant programs that teach children and women how to grow their own food or vastly improve their nutrition. Through the non-profit CWC, Adams also launched Nutrition Rescue, a program that donates essential vitamins to people in need. Click here to see some of the CWC success stories.

With a background in science and software technology, Adams is the original founder of the email newsletter technology company known as Arial Software. Using his technical experience combined with his love for natural health, Adams developed and deployed the content management system currently driving NaturalNews.com. He also engineered the high-level statistical algorithms that power SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, a massive research resource featuring over 10 million scientific studies.

Adams is well known for his incredibly popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply. He has also exposed "strange fibers" found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health "gurus," dangerous "detox" products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics.

Adams has also helped defend the rights of home gardeners and protect the medical freedom rights of parents. Adams is widely recognized to have made a remarkable global impact on issues like GMOs, vaccines, nutrition therapies, human consciousness.

In addition to his activism, Adams is an accomplished musician who has released over a dozen popular songs covering a variety of activism topics.
