The Gruberization of Government: Obamacare elitists openly admit voters were too stupid to realize they were being lied to

(NaturalNews) A key architect of the Obamacare mandate named Jonathan Gruber has just made himself an instant celebrity of sorts. In a video which has now circulated everywhere across the 'net, Gruber, an MIT economist, is seen explaining just how they managed to get Obamacare passed:

"This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes... Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the 'stupidity of the American voter' or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical to getting the thing to pass." This is all documented in a Washington Post story [1] and hundreds of other stories across the media.

Essentially, Gruber is telling you what Natural News warned you about many years ago: that Obamacare was a big fat lie engineered by liars who knew they were lying but realized they needed to lie to get the thing passed. Almost every promise made by Obamacare -- you can keep your doctor, insurance rates will go down, if you like your current insurance plan, you can keep it -- was an outright lie. Worse yet, those who were pushing the law arrogantly assumed the American voters were so incredibly stupid that they could be suckered into almost any lie, no matter how outrageous. (And to some extent, they were correct...)

I dare you to call us stupid... again and again

It's hard to think of anything that has come out of the Obama administration which wasn't a deliberate lie, of course, but this particular lie is costing millions of Americans their jobs while serving as a massive government handout to drug companies, insurance companies and the entire predatory "sick care" system.

Caught with his own words on video, Gruber ran to MSNBC to apologize for his remarks, claiming they were "off the cuff" and inappropriate. I'll give him that, believe it or not. We've all made off the cuff remarks in a live interview or even an op-ed piece that probably did not accurately reflect our genuine thoughts and ideas. But then a second video surfaced where Gruber also called the American people stupid for believing all the Obamacare lies.

"Call this Gruber 2: Stupid and Stupider," reports Hotair.com. [2] "Last night, a second video emerged from the same time period in which Gruber explained that the ACA passed 'because the American people are too stupid' to understand the law."

And now, a third video has surfaced where Gruber, who was paid $400,000 by the Obama administration for his consulting on Obamacare, is proudly announcing how easy it is to exploit the stupidity of the American people.

"A third video has surfaced of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber bragging about pulling the wool over the eyes of the American public in order to help implement Obamacare," reports DailyCaller.com: [3]

"It's a very clever, you know, basic exploitation of the lack of economic understanding of the American voter," Gruber, an economist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said during a speech at the University of Rhode Island in November 2012.

But anyone opposed to Obamacare was labeled a racist

Keep in mind that during all this time that Obamacare operatives were knowingly exploiting what they call the "stupidity of the American voter" to pass a law they knew was full of lies, progressive media mouthpieces were accusing anyone who opposed Obamacare of being a racist.

In other words, to meet the social acceptance requirements of the mainstream media, you have to be so stupid that you will buy every lie the Obama administration feeds you. Anyone who opposes Obamacare is conveniently labeled a racist, a tea bagger or even a domestic terrorist. Because only "mean people" don't go along with free health care for everybody, right?

Right?

The Gruberization of Big Government

The government elite who run these programs quite literally believe they are intellectually superior and that the American people are too stupid to decide what to do in their own lives and must therefore be told what to do by a nanny state government.

I call this the "Gruberization" of Big Government, and it's the essence of the liberal / socialist state: only government is qualified to make important decisions for you such as what you eat, whether you wear a helmet when you ride a bicycle, and what kind of medicine you're allowed to choose. No individual citizen can be trusted to make any decisions for themselves, because they might make "bad" decisions the government doesn't like. (Such as trading paper dollars for gold or silver.)

Nanny state worshippers quite literally believe that government should control rent, monopolize the medical system and make sure you don't buy a soda that's too large for your britches. They think government is so brilliant and efficient that government should make all economic decisions, including forcing you to contribute to a retirement Ponzi scheme that will go bankrupt long before you ever get to collect on it (i.e. Social Security).

The Gruberization of Big Government includes an exhaustive regulatory burden on SMALL businesses, a punitive health insurance nightmare that most employers can hardly afford, corporate-government "soft fascism" that betrays the People for corporate profits, and the mass criminalization of nearly every business activity, enforced by selective prosecution of political targets the government wants to silence.

Even more shockingly, the Gruberized government is so arrogant in its elitist power that its operatives will openly admit, over and over again on recorded video, that you are all just too stupid to understand how you're being royally screwed over. So they're going to lie to you in order to get your compliance for their evil mastermind projects that turn you upside down and shake all the coin out of your pockets before tossing you to the curb.

Get ready for more Gruberization of your pocketbook, your liberties, and even your physical health. I have no doubt that if there were any real money in it, government agents would arrive at your house and violently Gruberize your family dog, too.
