(NaturalNews) This week's episode of
Mental Heath Exposed is a discussion about a recent
blog post I wrote that lists 91 ways to get to inner peace quickly.
Most people who know me understand that I am not a fan of quick fixes or magic bullets. Yet, there are many fast and effective things you can do to get peace of mind quickly. These ideas and methods should not be seen as the solution to life's challenges, but as helps along the way. And some of them are extraordinarily helpful!
In
this episode of Mental Health Exposed, I cherry pick the list of 91 things and go into greater detail.
Here are some examples from the complete list of how to get inner peace in the next minute:
1. Decide to live within your means.
2. Realize the difference between your wants and needs.
3. Tap gently on the upper side of your cheek bone.
4. Listen to white noise - tune in exclusively for 30 seconds and feel yourself settle.
5. Resolve to do your best, period, and let the rest take care of itself.
6. Write down the best piece of advice you have ever gotten and ponder it.
7. Inhale four counts, hold four counts, exhale four counts. Repeat.
8. Identify your unrealistic expectations and let them go.
9. Decide to get help for that problem you can't solve on your own.
10. Say to yourself, "I am having the thought...." Wait for a thought. Repeat.
11. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, ask God or the Universe to put into your mind exactly what you need to hear in this moment.
The above is a sample of the larger list of
91 things you can do. I go into greater detail about these and others on the show this week.
Download this episode and enjoy. I'd also love to hear your comments below about what works for you!
