(NaturalNews) A man said to be a trusted and well-respected security agent with the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was recently released on bail after having been taken into custody on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography, according to WBAL TV 11 in Baltimore, Md.

Forty-one year old Michael Scott Wilson was recently suspended from his position at Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) after law enforcement officials traced an illegal file accessed on a peer-to-peer network back to a computer he had been using. They later searched his home and found even more evidence, including illegal images stored on a computer hard drive and on compact discs found in the family's safe.

"On September 12th our detectives initiated an investigation involving suspected distribution of child pornography," Kathy Batten, spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Police Department (BCPD), is quoted as saying by ABC 2 News in Baltimore. "During this investigation [police] were able to link some of these issues back to a computer that was being used by Michael Wilson. They executed a search warrant and were able to recover evidence leading to the charges."

Wilson's neighbors and coworkers were reportedly shocked to learn the news, as the man had lived a largely "straight-laced" life, is married, and had allegedly taken an incredible amount of pride in his work for TSA. Until an actual conviction is made, however, Wilson remains innocent until proven guilty.

Since the TSA first began performing "enhanced" security pat-downs on air travelers in Fall 2010, there have been dozens of cases involving inappropriate touching, sexual assault, and possession or distribution of child pornography by TSA agents. Back in April, for instance, 46-year-old Thomas Gordon, Jr., who worked as a screening agent at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) was also arrested on charges involving child pornography (https://www.naturalnews.com/032226_TSA_child_...).

Though TSA officials deny that its employees are any more prone to sexual deviancy than employees in other sectors, this simply has not proven to be the case (http://www.travelunderground.org/index.php?t...).

Though obviously not all TSA agents are criminals, it is time for Americans to face the truth. The TSA's invasive and unnecessary screening protocols, which involve groping both adult and child passengers all day long, are a definite draw for society's worst to come in and take advantage of the situation for deviant purposes.
