(NaturalNews) Superfoods company Genesis Today announced a new partnership with Feed the Children on June 10 to benefit victims of recent tornadoes.

Genesis Today, one of the nation's fastest-growing healthy food and beverage companies, will donate $286,000 worth of its superfruit juices and teas to Feed the Children, an international Christian nonprofit relief organization that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other items to people in war-torn, poverty-stricken and disaster-affected areas.

As part of the Genesis Today campaign, called Nourish the Nation, the company delivered six-truckloads of beverages, which amounted to more than 310,000 servings, to temporary disaster relief shelters in Alabama. Four additional truckloads were distributed across Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.

"The Nourish the Nation campaign is about making sure that people across America are receiving proper nutrition, and that philosophy and need is never more important than in a disaster relief situation," said Dr. Lindsey Duncan, ND, CN, and the chairman, president and CEO of Genesis Today. "The victims across the South and Midwest have been absolutely devastated, and the last thing they need to worry about is whether or not they'll be able to feed their families."

Genesis Today's juices contain no high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, or added sugar. Each serving is 100 percent juice and contains nutrients and anti-oxidants, according to the company.

"Our superfruit beverages offer victims not only something clean and safe to drink, but a healthy, nutritious option packed with vital nutrients that can support energy levels and overall well-being, building their reserves and immune systems as they set foot on the road to recovery," Duncan said. "We are not donating soda or products filled with sugar but rather products that make a difference and strengthen the 60 trillion cells of the human body."

As part of Nourish the Nation, Genesis Today will donate one serving of juice for every person who signs up on the company website or on the company's Facebook page.

"Thanks to the great support from Genesis Today, we are able to provide assistance to families impacted by the recent storms," said Feed the Children spokesperson Tony Sellars. "With the help of our individual donors, our partners on the ground and our corporate supporters, we will continue to provide help to the storm victims as long as there is a need."

The Nourish the Nation campaign donated over $500,000 this year in beverages to people in need. Past recipients of donations from the company include The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, the Cleveland Food Bank, and Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland.
