Hillshire Farm Processed Meat Photos

A NaturalNews PhotoTour by Mike Adams

When I first snapped this picture, I thought I was seeing a tiny alien invading the Yard-O-Beef product. But alas, my fears were calmed when I realized this was no alien -- it's just the ingredients listed right on the label!

Those ingredients, in case you're curious, are:

BEEF, SALT, NATURAL SPICES, DEXTROSE, LACTIC ACID, STARTER CULTURE, FLAVORINGS, SODIUM ASCORBATE (VITAMIN C), SODIUM NITRITE

What you're seeing in this picture is most likely "BEEF" and "NATURAL SPICES."

Yummm!!

The sodium nitrite, of course, helps turn the meat a bright red color. Sodium nitrite is a chemical additive used by food companies to turn the meat red while reducing bacterial growth. It's known as a "color fixer" in the industry, and it's been linked with pancreatic cancer and color cancer. You can read more about sodium nitrite at http://www.NewsTarget.com/sodium_ni...

I found this particular picture so interesting that I decided to zoom in and get a closer look. Are you ready to see this one? Click NEXT if you dare...
