Roomba 530 Vacuum Robot Product Review

A NaturalNews PhotoTour by Mike Adams

This is a picture of the new Roomba wheels. They're made with a new high-grade rubber-like composite that really works to grip floors. I don't know what the material is, but it's both tough and pliable, so it really gives the Roomba robot the traction it needs.

The more important feature on the wheels, however, is the new suspension system of the Roomba 500 series: It's much deeper than previous Roomba models. This allows the Roomba to more easily navigate thick carpets while simultaneously handling tile or hardwood floors. The robot seems to transition seamlessly between the two.

I've also noticed that Roomba will climb small piles of stuff you might have on the floor, such as a pile of computer cables or clothing. If it gets stuck, it tries a number of different tactics to free itself from the pile, and it's usually successful (although I have seen the robot stumped several times by getting jammed underneath an IQAir air purifier unit, which has an opening that's just the right size to serve as Roomba bait...)
