Roomba 530 Vacuum Robot Product Review

 Here's a close up shot showing you the effectiveness of Roomba's brushes. As you can see, these brushes picked up all kinds of fibers and hairs in my home. During this cleaning cycle, Roomba spent some time vacuuming over an old carpet, and that's where a lot of these white-colored fibers are coming from.
I think these pictures answer the question of whether Roomba is effective at cleaning. It's remarkably effective in my tests, and I put the unit through dozens of cycles to see what it would pick up. It successfully cleans dirt, food, small rocks, dust, hair and just about any non-liquid items (the iRobot Corporation makes a different model for cleaning up liquids or scrubbing your floors with soap. It's called the Scooba model, and it scrubs and mops your floor. I have no idea if it's effective, as I haven't tested the Scooba model...).
