Pomegranate and Blueberry Juice Consumer Shopping Guide
A NaturalNews PhotoTour by Mike Adams

Here's the back of the VFusion pomegranate blueberry product. As it turns out, my fears were unfounded. Aside from most of the ingredients being reconstituted from concentrate, there's nothing really terrible about the ingredients list.
This product contains basically two ingredients:
• A vegetable blend • A fruit blend
The vegetable blend is made of sweet potatoes, purple carrots, tomatoes and carrots. Sounds fairly healthy to me.
The fruit blend is made of apple juice, grape juice, pomegranate juice and blueberry juice. Note that the first two ingredients in this fruit blend are apple and grape juice (two "filler juices," as I call them, probably used to sweeten up the blend).
There are no chemical additives or preservatives. In all, it's an acceptable and unique blend that actually offers more diversity of phytonutrients than most of the other products reviewed here. I actually decided to drink this product myself after reviewing it. The taste was quite pleasant, and it didn't give me any blood sugar problems.
This V8 Fusion product seems like a wonderful way to get a bit of vegetable nutrition into your body (or your child's body) with a great-tasting juice drink. The carrots and tomatoes are hardly noticeable. Of course, it doesn't compare to eating RAW fruits and vegetables, but in terms of processed, pasteurized juice products, you could certainly do a lot worse than V8 Fusion.
There's no sugar, no corn syrup and no use of chemical sweeteners. The product contains numerous vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients, and it's 100% juice. It seems my first impression of the product was wrong! I'm actually happy to see the V8 company putting out a decent product like this. (Decent, mind you, but not perfect.)
