Pomegranate and Blueberry Juice Consumer Shopping Guide

Here's a product from the R.W. Kundsen company that calls itself 'Organic Blueberry Pomegranate" with claims of "100% Juice - No Sugar Added." A quick look at the ingredients list reveals that the primary ingredient is water used to reconstitute the organic apple juice (which is the second ingredient).

Sure, it contains pomegranate juice and blueberry puree, but those aren't the primary ingredients. Yet the front label shows pomegranates and blueberries (but not apples). It's yet another case of a pomegranate juice product that's deceptively marketed, in my opinion. The fact that it's organic might cause consumers to trust it more than they should, too. I'm not impressed by this product, however. It should be called "Organic Apple Juice" with a touch of pomegranate, blueberry and lemon. That would be more accurate.
