Big Pharma's Thalidomide Drug was Actually Developed by Nazi Germany's Chemical Weapons Program

New documents discovered by academics reveal that thalidomide, the morning sickness drug that caused babies to be born without arms or legs, was originally developed by wartime Nazi Germany as part of its chemical weapons program.
In the late 1950s, the drug was launched in America, where doctors prescribed it to pregnant mothers for morning sickness, telling them the drug was perfectly safe. It had been approved by the FDA, after all, so how could it be dangerous?
Before long, mutant babies were being born all across America. The drug was pulled off the market in 1961. With new documents revealing it was developed by Nazi Germany, one academic research called it, "the last war crime of the Nazis."
Thalidomide is once again FDA approved, by the way. It is commonly used as a chemotherapy drug in cancer patients in the U.S. Once again, cancer doctors are telling patients the drug is perfectly safe, oblivious to the fact that it was actually part of Nazi Germany's chemical weapons program.
