Bioethics Professor Seeks to Drug College Students with Ritalin Before ExamsBy Mike Adams, January 2, 2009 | Key concepts: Students, Drug use and Bioethics John Harris, professor of bioethics and director of the Institute for Science, Ethics and Innovation at the University of Manchester is at it again, pushing for drug use by college students who want to "enhance their brain power" before exams. What drugs should they be taking? Amphetamines, he says! (Speed)Conventional medicine is now pushing hard for the legalization of mind-altering drugs to be used by students. It was only a few weeks ago that the medical journal Nature published a highly-publicized editorial authored by several doctors (including John Harris) who strongly advocated the use of Ritalin and other mind-altering drugs by students (gee, haven't they drugged enough students with Ritalin already?). See my original article on that here: http://www.naturalnews.com/News_000... These pill-pushers medical authorities claim that now all of a sudden students should be allowed to enhance their brain function with dangerous drugs, but athletes should be forever banned from enhancing their body function with drugs. How do they get past that double standard? They just claim that steroids are bad for you, but amphetamines are GOOD for you! (Like vaccines are good for you, too!) What they're really shooting for, of course, is a world of drug-addicted zombies who need a hit from Big Pharma to sleep, wake up, poop, pee, have sex, take a test, breathe, or even think straight. They want all humans to be dependent on their patented chemicals, and they've got these numbskulls like John Harris out stumping for widespread drug abuse when these are the very bioethicists who should be against this kind of thing! When the bioethics professors are recommending the mass-drugging of college students, that's when you know Big Pharma has taken over the world of academia. And if this thing ever passes, I think the whole world owes an apology to Timothy Leary, who pioneered the therapeutic use of LSD at Harvard in the 1960's. Click to read: |
