Seaweed Farms Could Grow Biofuels Without Using Water or Land

A U.K. science report says that aquaculture farms could grow enormous quantities of seaweed to be used for biofuels. It's cleaner and more renewable than land-based biofuel crops, which requre pesticides, fertilizers, land and lots of water. Seaweed aquaculture farms, however, can be grown almost effortlessly, using no fresh water at all. They provide efficient biofuels that can be used for transportation, heating, electricity generation and more.
