Top foods to naturally increase HGH for men

HGH boost

(NaturalNews) The use of human growth hormone (HGH) is on the increase among men who wish to benefit from its anti-aging, muscle-building and other purported health-boosting properties.

HGH is now a multi-billion dollar industry, with annual sales expected to reach $4.7 billion by 2018, despite an increasing body of evidence suggesting that there may be adverse health effects associated with its use.

It's a much safer bet to boost your body's HGH levels naturally through your diet, and there are numerous foods that can do exactly that.

Ali Kuoppala of Anabolic Men has posted a list of the Top 20 foods that will increase your body's HGH levels naturally, while triggering a corresponding increase in testosterone levels at the same time.

Among these are various fruits, vegetables, nuts, meats and other foods that have been shown to increase HGH levels, among other benefits.

HGH-boosting fruits

Fruits on Kuoppala's list include pineapple, watermelon, raisins, Goji berries and lemons. All of these will help boost HGH, but in different ways.

For instance, pineapple increases HGH levels, but should be eaten just before going to bed. Pineapple helps to release serotonin and melatonin during the sleep cycle, thereby stimulating the production of HGH. Pineapple is also one of nature's best testosterone boosters.

Goji berries are packed with nutrients that naturally boost HGH, but these berries also work in another way – they contain compounds called sesquiterpenoids, which stimulate the pineal gland to produce more growth hormone, as well as L-Glutamine and L-Arginine, which also increase HGH levels.

Raisins also contain L-Arginine, and are well-known for their testosterone-boosting properties.

Your HGH diet should also include watermelons, which contain high amounts of L-Citrulline, an amino-acid which converts into arginine, once again boosting HGH levels.

Lemons stimulate HGH production due to their high alkaline content; lowering the body's often highly acidic PH levels is a key to increased HGH production.

Other foods that increase HGH levels

Fava beans, nuts of almost every type, raw chocolate, beets and coconut oil are all HGH boosters. Algaes such as spirulina and chlorella are also prized for their HGH-increasing properties.

But in case you're beginning to think that HGH-boosting is for vegans only, don't despair – there are several meat and dairy products that will help you achieve your goal.

Grass-fed beef contains several compounds that increase HGH levels while providing other health benefits:

"Grassfed beef should be labeled as a superfood, as it's filled with bio-active amino-acids along with substances like carnitine and coenzyme-Q10.

"The fact that grassfed beef is packed with those great amino's means that it also increases your Human Growth Hormone levels, because the following amino-acids present in grassfed cuts of beef are also linked to Human Growth Hormone production; L-Ornithine, L-Leucine, L-Valine, L-Glutamine, and L-Arginine."

Gelatin desserts and eggs are on the list, too:

"Eggs are filled with powerful growth factors like; all the essential amino-acids, vitamins A, E, D, K, multiple forms of vitamin B, DHA, EPA, growth increasing peptides etc."

Parmesan cheese, raw milk, whey protein, yogurt and a product you may never have heard of – colostrum – are all examples of HGH-boosting dairy products. Colostrum is the milk produced by cows in the first hours after a calf is born, and it contains numerous growth-boosting compounds. It's commercially available in powder form.

Keep in mind that all of these foods should be obtained from organically-grown or raised sources, and unpasteurized, if possible.

The last "food" on Kuoppala's list is water. Yes, water can help regulate HGH production. By keeping your body fully hydrated, you'll be naturally balancing your hormonal system.

Well, there you have it – with this information there's no excuse for ingesting a dangerous biochemical. Why take the risks, when there are so many natural alternatives for increasing your HGH levels?
