VAXXED is now playing in Los Angeles

(NaturalNews) The explosive new documentary exposing the true story of CDC scientist and whistleblower Dr. William Thompson is now playing at select theaters in Los Angeles, the country's second-largest media market (see here and here).

In the film, VAXXED: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe (see the trailer here), Dr. Thompson discusses his role in fabricating scientific data at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention so that he and others could hide established links between vaccines and autism – "links that the entire lying media complex denies exist at all," writes Natural News editor and author of the upcoming book Food Forensics Mike Adams, because "the entire mainstream media is largely funded by pharmaceutical interests."

In fact, Adams notes further, the entirety of the mainstream media essentially ignored Dr. Thompson's admission in an attempt to bury the most impactful admission of scientific fraud in the history of modern medicine. That story, which Adams covered when it broke, can be read here.

Enter the mainstream media

But the cover-up didn't stop there. Though Natural News and a few other alternative news sites have covered the story from the start, VAXXED is getting the same treatment Thompson's initial blockbuster admission received: It is being ignored, for the most part, by the film industry.

Shortly after the film was wrapped, it was scheduled to be screened at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival in March (Di Niro has an autistic child himself), to – in his words – create "an opportunity for conversation around the issue." However, VAXXED was suddenly pulled from the screening schedule at the last minute, even before anyone had seen it.

In discussing his decision to screen the film, De Niro noted in a statement:

Grace and I have a child with autism and we believe it is critical that all of the issues surrounding the causes of autism be openly discussed and examined. In the 15 years since the Tribeca Film Festival was founded, I have never asked for a film to be screened or gotten involved in the programming. However this is very personal to me and my family and I want there to be a discussion, which is why we will be screening VAXXED. I am not personally endorsing the film, nor am I anti-vaccination; I am only providing the opportunity for a conversation around the issue.

But it didn't work out that way.

"[T]he vaccine totalitarians and media science trolls who demand absolute obedience to the fraudulent narrative that vaccines are 'safe and effective' have zero tolerance for any intelligent conversations about vaccines," Adams wrote at the time. "They demand utter surrender to the official story on vaccines, with no willingness to discuss any of the evidence revealing a known, documented link between vaccines and autism.

"Even more shockingly, they have now gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure that no one else has the right to see this film, either, because what they learn in this documentary might be wildly dangerous to the vaccine establishment," he said.

Pressured

Come to find out, as we reported, De Nero was indeed pressured to drop the screening when "the entire mainstream media waged a coordinated, simultaneous attack against the Tribeca Film Festival to censor a film none of them had even seen."

The filmmakers released this statement after Tribeca dropped it:

It is our understanding that persons from an organization affiliated with the festival have made unspecified allegations against the film - claims that we were given no opportunity to challenge or redress. We were denied due process.

We have just witnessed yet another example of the power of corporate interests censoring free speech, art, and truth.

Tribeca's action will not succeed in denying the world access to the truth behind the film Vaxxed.

That the film is being shown at venues in Los Angeles is not only a triumph for free speech, but also for Americans starving for the truth surrounding the vaccine–autism controversy.
