(NaturalNews) As we were working on the launch of our new rap song called
Don't Touch My Junk (
https://www.naturalnews.com/Dont_Touch_My_Jun...), Congressman Ron Paul was addressing the House with one of the most scornful and blunt speeches he's ever given.
Here's most of what Ron Paul said (below). This is one of the most important "set yourself free" speeches that has ever been uttered in the halls of the U.S. Capitol -- by anyone! This tells you why Ron Paul is uniquely qualified to be the next U.S. President: He appears to be the only U.S. politician who truly understands the freedoms of the People and why it is the job of the People to keep the government in check:
Ron Paul's speech (edited for brevity)
I rise this evening to announce that I introduce some legislation today dealing with the calamity we have found at our airports with the TSA. Something has to be done. Everybody's fed up. The People are fed up. The pilots are fed up. I'm fed up.
What we're accepting and putting up with at the airport is so symbolic of us just not standing up and saying Enough is Enough! Our government, Congress as well as the executive branch are doing nothing.
Can you think how silly the whole thing is? The pilot has a gun in the cockpit, and he's managing this aircraft which is a missile, and we make him go through this groping X-ray exercise, having people feel inside their underwear, it's absurd!
And it's time we wake up. The bill I've introduced will take care of this.
We have to realize that the American people have been too submissive. We have been too submissive. It's been going on for a long time and this was to be expected even from the beginning of the TSA. And it's deeply flawed.
You can't take nude photographs of individuals, why do we allow the government to do it? We would go to jail if an individual, he'd be immediately arrested if he did these things, and yet we just sit there and calmly say oh they're making us safe. And besides the argument from the executive branch is that when you buy your ticket, you're sacrificing your rights, and it's the duty of the government to make us safe.
That isn't the case. You never have to sacrifice your rights. The duty of the government is to protect our rights.
This is not what makes us safer, this is preposterous to think that the TSA has made us safer. We're not dealing with it the right way, we're doing the wrong thing, and groping people at the airport doesn't solve our problems.
What has solved our problems basically has been that they put a good lock on the door and they put a gun inside the cockpit. That's been the greatest boon to our safety! Safety should be the responsibility of the individual and the private property owner. But right now we assume the government's always going to take care of us and we are supposed to sacrifice our liberties. I say that is wrong; we are not safer, and we also know there are individuals who are making money off this!
Michael Chertoff. I mean here's a guy who was the head of the TSA selling the equipment! And the equipment is questionable. We don't even know if it works, and it may well be dangerous to our health. You know, the way I see this, if this doesn't change, I see what has happened to the American people is we have accepted the notion that we should be treated like cattle.
Make us safe, make us secure, put us in the barbed wire, feed us, fatten us up, and then they'll eat us. We're a bunch of cattle and we have to wake up and say we've had it!
I think this whole idea of an "opt-out day" is just great. We ought to opt out and make the point, get somebody to watch it, take a camera, it's time for the American people to stand up, drive off the shackles of our government at the TSA at the airport.Watch the full video of the speech

What's astonishing in all this naked body scanner X-raying and X-rated body groping is not that the government is doing this, but rather that
people are tolerating this! They're just standing in line, passively accepting a total police state tyranny unfolding right in front of them.
It has been astonishing to me as a freedom-loving American to watch my fellow citizens just lay down and surrender their rights and freedoms while a government shoves their hands down your pants, feels up the breasts of your wives, and fingers the crotches of your little children. It's just beyond comprehension that people could be so brainwashed that they would passively allow this. What's next, are they going to finger your anus, too? (Seriously. That is not a joke.)
And you still hear people saying moronic things like, "Well I'd rather be groped than to have some terrorist get on the plane!" This is just classic victim brainwashing, the way you hear kidnapping victims sometimes defend their kidnappers.
The truth, folks, is that
the U.S. government agents ARE the terrorists! And the TSA is doing absolutely nothing useful to enhance travel safety. In fact, they are almost certainly compromising safety by making the pilots and flight crews feel emotionally assaulted during the TSA molestation pat-down procedure.
This is a danger to the psychological stability of the flight crew, and that puts all of us in danger.
Just as
Ron Paul explained in his speech, the American people need to stop acting like cattle and start standing up to this tyranny. Enough is enough! If we aren't free from being groped and molested by our own government agents, then what kind of "freedom" is this in America, anyway?
Why the Sheeple scare me more than Big Brother
Seeing all this happening around us today,
I'm more concerned about the sheeple mentality of the American people than the government itself. A well-informed, freedom-loving population can always resist tyranny. But a country full of pathetic victim-mentality pushovers is doomed to find itself imprisoned in a police state sooner or later. As the great statesman Thomas Jefferson famously said, "
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."
He did not choose those words lightly. What he means is that unless the People keep the government in check, they will eventually be overrun by tyranny. And this is precisely what we are seeing today with the TSA and other overreaching violations of our civil liberties being pursued by Big Brother.
Jefferson also famously said "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Jefferson understood the tyranny of Big Government, and he knew that all governments tend to expand their power to the point where they rule over the enslaved masses. That's why America was founded on the opposite principle: That the People "grant" limited powers to the government, and that We the People are protected by the Bill of Rights (which the TSA has conveniently forgotten).
Big Brother is not your savior
This idea that Big Government can solve all our problems -- give us jobs, provide us with food, protect us from terrorists, manage our savings accounts, and run our health care -- is the single most insidious and dangerous idea that has ever infected the minds of the American people.
The TSA's X-rated pat-downs are merely a symptom of a "cancer" in the U.S. government today, and unless We the People rise up and put a stop to this right now, that cancer will spread until it destroys the very thing we are all trying to protect -- a nation where men and women can live as free citizens without bowing down to a King.
Even Winston Churchill spoke on this issue of fighting for your freedom:
"If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."Right now, America is headed toward the path of outright slavery. The American people are already working largely as
wage slaves, and the younger generation is paying "social security taxes" that they will never see a dime of in return because social security is already bankrupt and running on financial fumes. Similarly, federal-run health care is a system of
medical slavery. The Federal Reserve has concocted a system of
financial slavery from which we can never truly escape because the Fed can always inflate away the value of our hard-earned savings!
Don't you find it fascinating that
Ron Paul is on the "right" side of all these issues? And I don't mean the Republican side. He's a Libertarian, and he's on the side of freedom, justice and civil liberties.
Ron Paul is willing to tell the truth when the truth really counts. And that makes him unique among all the politicians in Washington. It is no surprise that he was the first to stand up and say "Enough is Enough!" to these TSA naked body scanners and X-rated molestation pat-downs.
