Hillary Clinton campaign BUSTED: Gross violations of election law, aggressive push to do anything they can get away with
by J. D. Heyes
(NaturalNews) Investigative journalism has struck once more, this time catching paid campaign staffers for Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton plotting to break campaign laws.
As reported by Breitbart News, videographer James O'Keefe, the founder of Project Veritas, purports to show Clinton campaign staffers and volunteers in Nevada ignoring and knowingly violating the state's voter registration laws.
In addition, the video appears to show the conduct actually being encouraged and condoned by a local attorney who also works for the Clinton campaign.
The video notes that it is a felony in the state of Nevada for someone involved in the process of registering voters to "solicit a vote for or against a particular question or candidate" or "speak to a voter on the subject of marking his or her ballot for or against a particular question or candidate." Yet a number of staffers were found to be "openly partisan" when they were registering voters, according to the video's narrator and resultant video clips.
If found guilty, violators could face jail time and a fine of up to $20,000.
In addition, the video appears to show a number of campaign staffers who are well aware of what the law allows. Nevertheless, many of them scoff and laugh at the law while repeatedly bragging about violating it as they verbally promote Clinton and offer campaign literature as they try to register potential voters.
Elsewhere in the Project Veritas video, Clinton campaign staffers appear to solicit voter registration in close proximity to state offices, which is also a potential violation of state law. In the video, when the attorney in question – identified as Christina Gupana – was informed of the alleged law-breaking, she casually advises staffers, "Do whatever you can. Whatever you can get away with, just do it, until you get kicked out, like totally."
"Pattern of malfeasance"
On more than one occasion, staffers can be heard reciting an informal motto regarding such laws: "Ask for forgiveness, not for permission."
Towards the end of the video, O'Keefe and a cameraman walk into the Hillary Clinton campaign HQ in Brooklyn, New York City, and inform a man behind a counter that they are journalists conducting an undercover investigation and are seeking comment about potential violations of campaign law in Nevada by some of her campaign staffers. They are told to stop recording and that no one would be made available to provide a statement on the record regarding the allegations.
Then, once outside the offices, O'Keefe notes that the current video is the third thus far showing a "pattern of malfeasance" within the Clinton campaign.
"As you can see in the videos, they're breaking election laws, they're laughing about breaking election laws...a lawyer for the Nevada campaign says, 'Just hide it, keep doing it until you get caught' – this pattern of malfeasance is starting to look like a disease, a plague of dishonesty," he said.
"The videos are going to keep coming until this campaign starts obeying the law. So stay tuned, Hillary, and remember...check your email," he continued, the latter a reference to Clinton's ongoing legal problems regarding a personal email server she used while serving as secretary of state. The video can be seen here.
Campaign collapsing
There have been a number of new developments in the Clinton email saga.
The Obama administration's Justice Department argued in federal court on September 10 that Clinton was under no obligation to turn over her personal emails to government investigators and that no court had authority to order her to do so.
One of Clinton's top aides, Huma Abedin, was investigated for alleged embezzlement by the FBI for filing false State Department time cards. However, she managed to escape further scrutiny by blaming her husband, disgraced former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, because "he handles all the finances."
Clinton's campaign is collapsing – literally – as a video from a campaign event in Milwaukee recently indicates - the stage backdrop fell down.
