How can the USA lecture China and other countries on human rights while allowing Planned Parenthood to harvest and sell baby organs?
by J. D. Heyes
(NaturalNews) The second undercover video released by pro-life group Center for Medical Progress shows Planned Parenthood officials ghoulishly negotiating prices for the body parts of aborted babies.
In the undercover video, as reported by LifeNews.com, Mary Gatter, the medical director at Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley in Calfiornia, "discusses selling aborted baby body parts with undercover investigators posing as officials with a biotech company that acts as a middleman to sell aborted baby body parts to universities and other places that conduct such research."
Gatter, a senior official within PP and president of Medical Directors' Council, the organization's central committee of all Planned Parenthood affiliate medical directors, is seen and heard haggling over the price of the aborted body parts, telling the biotech company posers that prices for hearts, livers and heads are negotiable.
In addition, she tells the biotech posers that she could talk with PP abortionists to get them to possibly alter abortion procedures – to kill babies in ways that would best preserve the negotiated body parts.
During one particularly gruesome exchange, Gatter actually offers to use a "less crunchy technique" in order to secure more body parts intact.
Actors posing as buyers ask Gatter, "What would you expect for intact [fetal] tissue?
"Well, why don't you start by telling me what you're used to paying!" Gatter replies, as reported by LifeNews.com.
Disturbing video
When you watch the video, you will notice that the footage is proceeded by a statement from Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, in which she states unequivocally that her organization does not profit "in any way" from "tissue donation." You can watch the full video here:
This is the second video to surface exposing Planned Parenthood's organ-harvesting operation. As Natural News Editor-in-Chief Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, reported following the release of the first video – in which PP's Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describes how the organization sells the body parts and admits to using partial-birth abortions to harvest them – this "is what passes for 'science' in today's twisted world."
As reported by Breitbart News following the release of the first video by the Center for Medical Progress, the sale of human body parts is a federal crime, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $500,000.
The Obama Administration has been virtually silent since the scandal broke. In fact, during a Q&A with reporters, when asked if the White House would back defunding Planned Parenthood over its practices, spokesman Josh Earnest had a one-word answer: "No."
This White House is in no position to lecture any country
The administration's position on this issue – that it is not an issue, essentially – will make it extremely difficult for the White House and the U.S. State Department to continue pointing fingers at other nations who supposedly have "poor human rights records."
Iran was criticized over "legal proceedings that frequently didn't respect Iran's own constitutional guarantee to due process"; Cuba was hit for punishing political opponents and censoring some media (as if none of that happens in the U.S.), and so forth.
More appropriately, China's human trafficking[PDF] has been criticized by the State Department, which observers say is caused by the Asian giant's "one-child policy," which has contributed to some 336 million abortions, according to Chinese government statistics.
Talk about hypocrisy.
It's hypocritical because, if a country values life so little that it can brutally murder its unborn and then grotesquely offer up their body parts for sale and profit, that country is no position whatsoever to lecture any other government about the treatment of its citizens.
