Medicine as propaganda: Obama pushes doctors to brainwash patients about global warming

(NaturalNews) With Barack Obama, it is all Left-wing politics, all the time. Never a let-up. No relenting. Push, push, push the agenda 24/7/365.
Why else – with all that the president has to concern himself with – would he bother trying to convince your family doctor to teach you about so-called global warming, especially when it's not even an established fact but just a theory which no one seems capable of accurately predicting or proving (that is, not without changing or altering climate data)?
"We also need doctors, nurses and citizens, like all of you," President Obama said in a taped speech presented to medical professionals gathered at the White House, "to get to work to raise awareness and organize folks for real change."
That Obama – always the community organizer.
The White House, on the president's direction, has been working overtime in an attempt to tie public health in with the notion of global warming/climate change. A recent summit on the issue included the U.S. surgeon general, top administration officials and public health professionals from around the country. The message: Tell U.S. doctors, nurses and others in attendance how to discuss global warming with patients.
Facts are irrelevant; this administration has a climate agenda, pure and simple
"The central message: doctors should warn their patients that global warming could make their health worse," The Daily Caller reported, citing information presented at the recent summit.
"There are a whole host of public health impacts that are going to hit home," Obama said in his speech. "The great thing about this conversation is to see all the work that's already being done by public health officials, the medical community, nurses and families."
Obama was joined by other officials in predicting doom and gloom for the planet.
"I know we have people all around the country, in all of the regions, who are also listening to this conversation, and like all of you in the room, I hope will go out and continue to talk and educate," said Nicole Lurie, assistant secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Health Department.
"We need to engage medical students themselves," added Vice Admiral Vivek Murthy, the U.S. Surgeon General, "to demand the curriculum change" to prepare them for a warmer future.
No, more like indoctrinate them for the future. As much as medical students have on their plate to learn already, here we have an administration that wants to clutter up that heavy workload with unsubstantiated garbage about "climate."
But, as The DC further reported, it wasn't enough for speakers at the summit to just tell doctors to go out and "raise awareness" about global warming – in essence, become propagandists for the administration. Their mission, as this White House sees it, is to also promote the administration's regulatory agenda that is, of course, tied to "climate change."
"We need people, proponents, to talk about it. Make sure that the public is informed," said Texas Democratic Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson. "Stand behind the EPA, because they're attacked every day, all day by many committees."
(And rightfully so; they are authoritarian and over-the-top with their rules and regulations that are killing entire industries like coal – and the jobs that go with them.)
Propaganda, regulations, control
In particular, Johnson was referring to EPA rules that limit carbon dioxide emissions from power plants — a regulation that has come under fire from Republicans and industries for threatening to raise energy prices and cause job losses, The DC reported.
Karen Kerrigan, president of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council — the parent group for the Center for Regulatory Solutions, saw right through the propaganda push.
"If the facts came even close to supporting the EPA's economically destructive plans, then Obama officials and their political allies in the environmental community would not need to carefully stage manage events like today's so-called summit, or use other deceptive tactics to manufacture the appearance of public support for their actions," she wrote on the group's website.
If there are still Americans out there who have yet to realize that this president is the most politicized, and Left-wing, in our history, then it is difficult to imagine anything that could ever convince them of that fact.
