The big measles lie: Eradication of measles happened BEFORE the vaccine, not after
by Ethan A. Huff, staff writer
(NaturalNews) The general consensus among pro-vaxxers is that vaccines save lives, and if it weren't for their existence, infectious disease would be running rampant. But a closer look at the data reveals that the death rates from conditions like measles, scarlet fever, typhoid, whooping cough (pertussis) and diphtheria were all in major decline prior to the advent of their respective vaccines, the direct result of better nutrition and sanitation practices.
Dr. David Brownstein, a board-certified family physician and holistic medicine practitioner, wrote in a recent article how all the measles hysteria currently sweeping headlines is supplanting actual science, which doesn't seem to reflect what health authorities, conventional doctors and media pundits are saying about the efficacy of vaccines. To the contrary, vaccines appear to have done little, if anything, to curb infectious disease death rates based on the data.
A graph compiled from official data on mortality rates in the U.S. dating back to the late 19th century reveals a downward mortality trend in nearly all disease categories prior to vaccine introduction. In the case of both measles and whooping cough, deaths were already near zero at the time the vaccines were introduced. And when the diphtheria vaccine was introduced in 1920, the mortality rate actually spiked for several years before continuing its downward trajectory.
"You would think from the propaganda surrounding the shot that the measles vaccine was responsible for the rapid decline in mortality from measles," wrote Dr. Brownstein. "Think again."
Many vaccines, including MMR, contain aborted human fetal tissue linked to autism
What many people also don't realize is that the vaccine for measles today, MMR II, contains aborted fetal lung tissue, which Dr. Brownstein believes may be associated with escalating autism rates among children. Citing a review conducted by Dr. Helen Ratajczak, a former drug industry scientist, Dr. Brownstein provides evidence that vaccines, and especially the ever-growing vaccine schedule, is throwing people's immune systems out of balance.
"[T]he foreign DNA from vaccines can be incorporated into the host DNA which causes the immune system to fight against the foreign cells," he wrote. "This could start an inflammatory process that never ends, leading to chronic illnesses like autoimmune disease and allergies. Maybe this is why we are seeing so many children with severe, life-threatening allergies to common foods like peanuts."
The best way to prevent measles? Lots of vitamins C and A
Dr. Andrew Wakefield came to similar conclusions with his own study, which found measles virus in the lymph tissue of 12 autistic children he was studying. None of the children had ever had measles, but all of them had been injected with MMR, which Dr. Wakefield also found was directly associated with the inflammatory gut condition from which most autistic children suffer.
The remedy, says Dr. Brownstein, is not more vaccines, but more nutrition. While he and his older-generation friends and colleagues were fortunate enough to contract some or all of these conditions and develop lifelong immunity from them, much like children who contract chickenpox still do today, most children born today are being injected with attenuated (weakened) live virus, chemicals and other toxins that are causing permanent immune damage.
The most important thing a person can do to avoid serious complications from natural measles infection is to maintain high levels of vitamin A. Dr. Suzanne Humphries, M.D., also suggests supplementing with high-quality vitamin C, which together with vitamin A will nearly eliminate the risk of complications or death associated with measles infection.
