Study finds that chemotherapy treatment being forced on Connecticut girl will increase her risk of death more than 10-fold

(NaturalNews) In case you missed it, the Connecticut Supreme Court recently ruled that a 17-year-old girl diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma must undergo chemotherapy treatments against her will, a blatant violation of medical freedom and personal choice. And these treatments, according to the medical literature, won't even help her, and will probably cause her to suffer miserably before dying an early death.
Cassandra "C." made national headlines when she rejected the standard "care" protocol for her cancer -- chemotherapy, a.k.a. the deliberate poisoning of her entire body with cancer-causing chemicals for the supposed purpose of eliminating her cancer. Cassandra had done her homework and decided not to take the toxic treatment, a decision that her mother also supported: case closed.
But the state disagreed, arguing that Cassandra isn't mature enough to make her own medical decisions and that the government must make them for her. The issue was eventually brought to the courts, which declared that Cassandra had failed to prove her capability in deciding how best to treat her own body.
Never mind the fact that chemotherapy comes with a slew of damaging side effects, or that individuals are supposed to be constitutionally protected when it comes to making personal decisions -- if the state says you're getting chemotherapy, you're getting it. This is the new "freedom" in America: freedom to do what the overlords say or face possible jail time or the abduction of your child by mindless jackboots serving the interests of the state.

If the courts had bothered to look at the science behind chemotherapy, particularly in the treatment of Hodgkin's lymphoma, they would have realized that the treatment isn't really all that effective, and often leads to patients suffering severe diseases later in life. Proponents of the type of state-sanctioned medical abuse being forced on Cassandra claim that Hodgkin's is "highly curable" with chemotherapy, but they are ignoring the fact that nearly 70 percent of childhood "survivors" will suffer devastating side effects of the original treatment by the time they reach 50 years of age.
Beyond this, The Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS), the largest cohort to date for the assessment of late mortality associated with previous cancer treatment, revealed that cancer patients who are treated using conventional methods like chemotherapy before the age of 21 are more than 10 times more likely to die compared to others.
The cancer industry has been lying to the public about the effectiveness of chemotherapy for years, citing five-year survival statistics as proof that the treatment works. What they aren't telling the world is that the vast majority of cancer patients treated with chemotherapy suffer immensely after the five-year window, with some of them relapsing into more aggressive forms of the cancers for which they were originally treated.
"She may not be able to have children after this, because it affects everything in your body," stated Cassandra's mother Jackie to the media in defense of her daughter's original decision to reject chemotherapy. "[I]t kills everything in your body. She knows this."
"This is her human rights -- her human constitutional rights -- to not put poison in her body. Her rights have been taken away. She has been forced to put chemo in her body right now, as we speak. These are her rights that have been taken away. She does not want to [put] poison in her body."
