Old dudes rob pharmacy at gunpoint, steal Viagra
by L.J. Devon, Staff Writer
(NaturalNews) A medical clinic in the West Side of Chicago was held up recently in the small Austin community. Two older guys, clearly in their late 50s, took the clinic by surprise, in broad daylight. Walking in like any normal patient would, the two older dudes inquired about a dental appointment. When they were met at the door, they immediately wielded guns, pushing staff members aside as they scurried for bottles of pills. Apparently, the old guys were hard up for a hard-on or had friends willing to pay for some. In broad daylight, the two older men made off with well over a thousand dollars' worth of Viagra.
Men fake dental checkup, go into a gun-wielding Viagra scramble
Medical facilities and pharmacies are becoming the new hotspots for thieves. At about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, an employee walked up to see what the two elderly men wanted. Under the pretense that the men wanted to schedule a dental appointment, the employee greeted the men at the door. That's when the old men brandished their weapons -- a semi-automatic handgun and a pistol. Immediately, they instructed the staff members to get on their knees and put their hands up.
Within minutes, the old thieves filled an entire box full of drugs, snatching up 56 Viagra pills valued at $1,700. They even managed to snatch up some Xanax and a codeine-laced painkiller and fever reducer called Norco, altogether valued at $400. Before they left, they scooped up a laptop valued at $1,500 and $65 in cash from an employee.
Chicago PD describes the old thieves, asks for public's help
Police are now asking the public to help them locate the two prescription drug thieves. Witnesses describe the men as nervous but not violent, telling police that the thieves gave no indication that they would shoot anyone. The men had no visible tattoos. One wore a green band that resembled a medical bracelet. The other wore a Tasmanian Devil T-shirt. They were specifically interested in the Viagra. The owners of the center have no idea whether the men are selling the Viagra on the streets or if they were hard up for it themselves.
