Eating nutritious foods can help slow the progression of HPV-related cancers and warts
by Raw Michelle
(NaturalNews) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that about 79 million Americans are currently infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV) and that, every year, around 14 million new cases of this sexually transmitted infection arise in both genders and across all sexual orientations.
In fact, because it is so common, it's thought that virtually anyone who is sexually active will get some type of HPV at one time or another in their lifetime. While HPV typically goes away on its own, when not monitored, it may lead to cervical cancer as well as cancers of the anus, vagina and throat. It can also lead to genital warts and other complications.
As with many health conditions, it's possible to restore the body's health by eating nutritious foods. Choosing whole, fresh and organic foods is always ideal, and when it comes to HPV in particular, there are some foods that can help heal.
Foods that can help heal HPV and stop progression of illness
Choosing foods that can help slow or altogether prevent the development of cancerous cells is key.
1) Seek high-folate foods
According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, females infected with HPV who were also lacking folate were at a higher risk of getting cervical dysplasia. Asparagus, strawberries, oranges and cantaloupe are all good sources of folate.
2) Make beta-carotene-rich choices
Studies have shown that women with high beta-carotene levels cut their odds of acquiring HPV infections by up to half. Foods high in beta-carotene include carrots, broccoli, pumpkin and tomatoes.
3) Go for antioxidants
Foods high in antioxidants, such as blueberries, cherries and green tea, have been shown to prevent warts that may spread to various parts of the body due to HPV.
Avoid HPV vaccinations
Vaccinations have been marketed as a way to safeguard younger generations from acquiring HPV. However, everything from brain damage to death can occur from such a vaccination. In fact, people were using Gardasil despite the fact that proper testing hadn't been conducted. Most notably, the company that developed it had only tested it on male testes, so no one knew the dangerous effects it might have for women. This ultimately led to one woman's ovaries being destroyed.
One study explains that nearly 21,000 people in the U.S. have had "adverse reactions" to Gardasil, which included 89 deaths and thousands of emergency room visits.
Forgo vaccinations of any kind and live a healthy lifestyle that includes eating a range of nutritious fruits and vegetables.
