How to effectively treat skin cancer
by Jonathan Landsman
(NaturalNews) Staggering, but true, skin cancer is the most common form of cancer - in the United States - costing over $3 billion for the 3 million plus people diagnosed - every year. In fact, scientific papers reveal that, in the past three decades, more people have gotten skin cancer than any other form of cancer combined. With one in five Americans destined to experience skin cancer - we have some important questions to answer.
Does the sun cause skin cancer? The short answer is yes - but not the way the sunscreen industry would have you believe. On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour, Jonathan Landsman interviews Nicholas Gonzalez, M.D. about the real risks for developing skin cancer and how to effectively treat this disease.

Conventional cancer 'experts' promote a sliver of the truth about skin cancer
According to the National Cancer Institute, "the main risk factor for skin cancer is exposure to sunlight (UV radiation), but there are also other risk factors." The problem with this (initial) statement - which can be found on their website - is that people are led to believe that merely being in the sun causes cancer. In truth, if you look at the work of William Grant, Ph.D. plus many others, sunlight actually helps the body to produce vitamin D - which, at optimal levels, greatly reduce the risk for all types of cancer.
Dr. Grant says, "the health benefits of ultraviolet-B (UVB) irradiance and vitamin D are coming into sharper focus as more research results are published. There are now about 100 conditions and diseases linked to low serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentrations." Now, don't get me wrong, overexposure to the sun or sunburn can cause cancer but with a healthy dose of antioxidants - in a healthy diet and supplement program - you protect yourself from potential harm.
Learn more about the cause of skin cancer; its most aggressive forms and how to treat it safely and effectively on the next NaturalNews Talk Hour with Jonathan Landsman and Nicholas Gonzalez, M.D.

Natural ways to prevent skin cancer
Most chronic diseases - especially cancer - are caused by oxidative stress. As stated before - a lack of antioxidants will set the stage for free radical damage. This is why it's crucial to consume a diet rich in organic fruits and vegetables; herbs and supplement (as needed) including - medicinal mushrooms, vitamin C and E, selenium plus melatonin. Of course, another great way to prevent cancer is to stay well-hydrated - with pure (uncontaminated) water to remove toxins and eat healthy fats rich in omega-3s.
The skin is vital for detoxification. Avoid smothering your skin with toxic lotions or sunscreens loaded with cancer-causing ingredients. Just because it's 'legal' - doesn't make it safe. To promote detoxification - you may want to consider fasting, juicing or using a far infrared sauna. And, ladies, please don't go to those toxic nail and 'health' spas that use dangerous chemicals.
The 'sick care' industry does not want you to know how to prevent, even reverse skin cancer. The next NaturalNews Talk Hour will shatter all of your preconceived notions about the cause of skin cancer and how to protect yourself - naturally. Join us for an informative program which will separate fact from fiction.
